Welcome to the 2016 Pender County Business and Health & Wellness Expo. Sponsors include: Four County EMC, Pender County Farm Bureau, Town of Burgaw, Pender County, Pender Memorial Hospital and The Pender-Topsail Post & Voice. The expo will be going on from 11:00 A.M. to 5 P.M. at the historic Burgaw Train Depot located at 115 South Dickerson St. in Downtown Burgaw. This FREE event is conveniently located in Burgaw’s historic district and will include small businesses, government entities such as health care, insurance, retail and other items of interest. Surge Radio will be live streaming at SurgeRadio.org Of course you can walk down the street to have coffee at Brown Dog Coffee, eat some delicious fudge made at Burgaw Antique Place, shop at many of our local businesses, have lunch or dinner at Bandana’s Restaurant

and just stroll around our beautiful town. There will be a quilt exhibit on display from artist Martha Highsmith. The Pender County Health Department will be giving flu shots. Please make sure to bring your insurance information. We will also have a drug take back program from 1 to 5 P.M. Medications brought to this event for disposal can be prescription, over-the-counter, vitamins or herbals. The medications should be in their original containers with the labels still attached. Members of the PMH Pharmacy Staff are working with the Pender County Sheriff ’s Department. The Pender County Sheriff ’s Department will be on hand to accept controlled substances. There will be door prizes at each booth and exhibitors will draw around 4:00 p.m. for winners. We look forward to seeing you at the expo!
