PGMAG: Amina, so good to have you on today’s interview with Lady Anita.

AA: I’m honored to be invited on today’s Interview with Lady Anita.

PGMAG: Please briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

AA: I’m Amina Alami from Morocco, Asilah to be exact. I was an instructor and took an early retirement to start a small rental business.

PGMAG: What is your message for women who are going through difficult times due to lack of support?

AA: My message is to never give up trying to seek help. All you have to do is get in touch with women associations who are in charge of getting you connected to get some funding to set up your small business. You just need to be willing to put in the effort. Remember, ideas matter. So during this pandemic, many women came up with creative ideas to solve problems. In my small city, making masks that match your different outfits was a great success. Being flexible and able to adapt to different situations is key here. Always strive to meet your clients needs.

PGMAG: Please tell us more about your business.

AA: It’s a seasonal business as the apartments I own are in a coastal city. It is mostly active in summer.

PGMAG: What would you say to those who are starting up a new business?

AA:

I would say that they have to do a market research to see what business is worth investing in. It’s important to note that things are changing and adopting new ways of doing business is key.

PGMAG: Considering the impact of covid-19 on a global scale, what are some of the measures needed to aid economic recovery?

AA: That’s a tough question given that covid-19 is not over yet. However, I think that restrictions should be lifted so that life goes back to normal.Tourism is one of the sectors that was deeply affected by this pandemic due to lockdowns nationally and internationally. It is so interconnected with so many other sectors. Many countries economies depend on it. It is crucial to get life back to normal so that economies can start recovering from this crisis.

PGMAG: What were the top three books that changed your life?

AA: That’s a good question. The first one was : “ How to win friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie, the second was: “ Unleash the power within.” And the the third was a book by Peter Diamandis : Abundance.

PGMAG: Finally, what would you say to your younger self?

AA: I would say: Be kínder to yourself, know your worth and believe that anything is posible.

PGMAG: Thank you for your time – much appreciated.

AA: Thank you for inviting me to be a guest in your popular Powerhouse Global Magazine (PGMAG).
