ANITA GOHIL-THORP PCC, ACC, LLB, FRSA

Anita is a MindThrive ™ coach, trainer and mentor fascinated with human mindset and wellbeing. She believes that, through humanising the workplace and embracing diversity, leaders and employees can thrive. Following a corporate career that lacked fulfilment, and complex medical trauma, Anita was drawn to fulfil her purpose and passion with vigour. She crafted her own roadmap to wellness and re-trained as an internationally credentialled executive career and life coach with a particular interest in the mind’s connection to wellbeing, behaviour and results. She is the founder of Anita Gohil-Thorp Coaching and is a selfconfessed addict to learning that includes the science of happiness, positive psychology and mindfulness. She is a mental health first aider and certified in mental health advocacy in the workplace. Using her client centric (AGT) PRIME™ model for coaching, Anita unashamedly goes over and above to help high-achieving professionals, leaders and multi-million figure business owners build greater resilience, confidence and success. She feels blessed to coach clients across the globe, making an impact not only to their lives but to others around them too. Her passion is to help others to improve their happiness and confidence so they may pass on their newly found skills. Clients have called her enlightening, insightful and fun with the ability to grow to a whole new level. Anita’s multi-faceted role includes training, coaching and mentoring aspiring coaches and lawyers. She is a trained mentor coach, successfully supporting coaches to secure their professional qualifications. More recently Anita’s work has expanded into helping women over forty to overcome barriers that are more specific to this demographic. Through The Thriving Woman’s Club and coaching, she guides them to greater self-confidence in life and work.

Anita is a British Indian and has a rich cultural heritage that spans the UK, India and East Africa. When she isn’t teaching or coaching, Anita is living her authentic life with her two daughters, travelling, reading, keeping fit, and dancing! She has spent over a decade supporting local schools with career guidance and is a long-standing trust appointed member of a school stakeholder committee working to improve standards for all, not least safeguarding.
