The Inaugural Bunchful Awards Honor Global Philanthropic Contributions

The inaugural Bunchful Awards, in tandem with the 3rd annual Future of Philanthropy World Summit held on November 8, 2023, at New York City's Lincoln Center, was an extraordinary event committed to advancing the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Particularly, it focused on SDG #3, "Good Health and WellBeing." This transformative summit celebrated individuals and organizations actively making a global impact on well- being and whose giving further advances the SDGs.

The event presented in a timely manner in line with World Kindness Day, observed on November 13th, which amplifies the ethos of giving and compassion. Within the context of the Bunchful Awards and Future of Philanthropy World Summit, it signifies a crucial aspect of fostering positive global change. The event culminated in the prestigious Bunchful Awards, acknowledging outstanding contributors to societal betterment and honoring SDG #3, Good Health & Well-Being.

• The Zhag (Zayeed Hakim Award for Generosity) Award recognized Lady Anita DuckworthBradshaw, CEO of Powerhouse Global, for her exceptional dedication to philanthropy. The Zhag Award is the only award not governed by the criteria of the standards set for all other Bunchful Awards and is given at the discretion of Bunchful.

L. Perkins, founder of Farmingdale Legacy Community Gardens, for her work addressing food security and holistic wellbeing.

• The Bunchful Wisdom Award honored Life's Worc for its remarkable support of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

• The Bunchful Vitality Award recognized Liza Andrews of Picture Cure for her invaluable contributions to supporting the emotional well-being of cancer survivors.

• The Bunchful Innovation Award was presented to Jessica Sophia Wong, CEO of Yorkseed, for her pioneering climate action advocacy.

• The Bunchful Shared Abundance Award celebrated Gianna Palleschi for her advocacy in breast cancer awareness through Pink Pom Pom.

The summit served as a convergence of changemakers dedicated to advancing the SDGs, particularly emphasizing the critical importance of education, healthcare, food security, and shelter outlined in SDG #3. Notably, the summit highlighted collaboration and unity, symbolized by joint award presentations by Palestinian and Israeli representatives, Jordan Dakamseh, a journalist for the Foreign Press Associationand His Jordan Report and Eli Mirzoeff, a Jewish Israeli Jewelry Businessman (respectively), fostering goodwill and cooperation amid complex geopolitical circumstances. The event's speakers included distinguished individuals such as His Excellency, Ambassador Cheick Keita, and Lady Anita Duckworth Bradshaw, addressing topics from growth and innovation to empowerment and large philanthropic actions, and included the presence of the organization’s founder, Raquel Miller, who gave her titled speech, "Come With Me," recounting her philanthropic journey through often poetic verses, and a retelling of her origins from the foothills of Jamaica, where she learned the essence of giving from her grandmother and father, which later came to inspire the foundation of Bunchful Enterprises.

Other notable speakers included: over 20 years of expertise in breast surgery, specializing in oncology techniques, genetic predisposition care, and comprehensive patientcentered treatment, gave a titled speech, Lead With Compassion.

- Dr. Jonathan Bank, a distinguished and skilled plastic surgeon, who specializes in microsurgery and supports health initiatives through innovative projects, restoring confidence and well-being to his patience, and who was identified through a personal story of founder Raquel Miller, for his exemplary care that reaches beyond the boundaries of medicine to include poetry writing to help soothe one of his patience fears.

- Mr. Joseph Panetta, known for his marketing prowess and his work in broadening global access to justice. During his speech, Panetta emphasized a novel philanthropic approach. He advocated for active community involvement in collaboration with external philanthropists to devise and implement their own solutions.

- Mrs. Therese Tommo, Spouse of the Permanent Ambassador of Cameroon, a distinguished leader, advocating women’s empowerment in Africa, supporting diplomatic efforts at the UN, and has dedicated over ten years to diplomatic

Support and international cooperation.

- Dr. Gayle Brown, a Theology PhD holder, alongside Bishop Randy Brown, create impacts through the Bread of Life World Outreach Center, a 501c3 faith-based organization. Doctor and Bishop Brown spearhead Women’s Encounter, addressing global women's issues, and overseeing over a thousand (1000) churches globally through their organization.

- Dr. Susan Palleschi, a boardcertified surgeon, bringing

- Mr. Gary Anderson, a retired school psychologist, who devoted 37 years to public education. Passionate about literacy, he founded three nonprofits offering Read Aloud programs. A proud grandfather, mentor, and visionary. champions self-acceptance, featured in media, and supports cancer survivors.

- Mr. Stephen Robert, founder of Bedrock Credit America, pivoted from a successful career to empower communities with credit education and restoration. Today, he shares invaluable financial insights.

- Mr. Ayo Adewunmi's speech titled "Nurturing Hope, Shelter, Sustenance, and Lifelong Care" reflects his decadelong success as a Residential Director, championing Autism support, independence, and employment initiatives.

- Ms. Joelle Birge, Investment Director at Mission Invest, explores "The Impact of Impact Investment" blending financial expertise with faith-based initiatives in Africa.

The Bunchful World Summit further showcased impactful initiatives, highlighting philanthropic efforts and humanitarian endeavors, with highlights of the work by the Bread of Life World Outreach Center, whose focus is on Africa, particularly in Togo, aligning with SDG #3 goals. The stories of resilience and transformation underscored the profound impact of altruism on vulnerable communities globally.

Moreover, the summit aimed beyond recognizing philanthropic efforts, extending an invitation for joint award presentations by Palestinian and Israeli representatives, promoting unity amidst strife.

Raquel Miller, the founder, shared a touching incident involving Mr. Joseph Zaarour, the founder of iSolvRisk Inc. Ahead of the event, Miller informed Zaarour of the cancellation of the premium experience included in his ticket, offering a refund. Instead, Zaarour, emphasizing the significance of Bunchful's work, declined the refund and contributed the ticket costs to the organization. Zaarour's company specializes in risk management technology, empowering users with tools for informed decision-making. This groundbreaking summit reaffirmed the transformative power of collective support, fostering hope for a brighter, more equitable future for all. Bunchful Enterprises remains steadfast in its commitment to advancing the UN SDGs and driving positive global change.
