Nadiya Albishchenko (NA)
PGMAG: Brief us about your outset story of your career.
NA: Originally, I am from Mykolaiv, Ukraine, my journey began as a schoolgirl with dreams of exploring the world. Investing in my personal growth, I focused on English language education. After attending an economic lyceum to specialize in economics, my academic journey continued with a Bachelor's and later a Master's in Management of International Business from the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management, Kyiv, Ukraine, spanning from 2000 to 2006.
Post-graduation, I co-authored a book with my mentor, Dr. II. Dakhno titled "Management of Foreign Economic Activity," Management of Foreign Activity published in 2007 in Ukrainian language and widely utilized by libraries and research centres, in Ukraine. By that time my corporate career flourished, working with some of the most renowned names in the food industry. In 2015, I ventured into entrepreneurship, co-founding the trading startup Olvia EXIM LP in Europe.
In 2018, I anticipated the benefits of global distribution that encouraged me to move to a much strategic location moving my complete operation to the modern hub of trading the
United Arab Emirates. I solely started my operations as INAS EXIM LLC moving from Europe to the Middle East, capitalizing on my know-how, experience and the logistical advantages United Arab Emirates had to offer.
As leader in international trade, I've shared valuable market insights with international business magazines, addressing trends, challenges of globalization, and trade impacts. This wealth of experience and expertise is further encapsulated in my published business book, “Synergy: A Synopsis of an Elite Business Partnership” co-authored with my business partner and ally - Vinay Gandhi, Founder of Golden Star International LLC.
PGMAG: What are the aims and ideals that guide you as an individual and a professional?
NA: My professional endeavours are deeply rooted in facilitating international trade and fostering connections between diverse business cultures. I love connecting people and businesses across the globe, breaking down barriers to create strong collaborations. By focusing on facilitating international trade, I aim to bridge gaps in the markets, cultivate understanding, and contribute to the growth of businesses across diverse cultural landscapes. This commitment underscores my belief in the power of collaboration to drive success in the global business arena.
PGMAG: What sets you apart from your competitors?
NA: In the creation of my international startup, INAS ExIm LLC, I strategically targeted niche products for specific markets to set us apart from competitors. My commitment to selfimprovement led me to pursue an Advanced Diploma in Marketing from Cambridge College International, Sydney, Australia, Sydney, Australia, in 2008-2009, during my corporate tenure. This educational journey further enhanced my understanding of brand strategy and the intricacies of product launch processes.
In 2018, I anticipated the benefits of global distribution that encouraged me to move to a much strategic location moving my complete operation to the modern hub of trading the United Arab Emirates.
Drawing from my extensive corporate background and holding a Master’s degree in Molecular Genetics from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine (2016-2018), I comprehensively understood the entire product innovation process. Starting from raw material procurement, R&D process, global logistics management, brand launch, finally to market distribution strategies in the Middle East and Africa. It's incredible to think that one person could carry such a breadth of knowledge, and I personally conducted all this research until I successfully created my own food brands.
PGMAG: What are the top-notch offerings of your company?
NA: Leveraging our expertise in the food industry, my company currently provides a diverse range of dairy products catering to various channels, including HoReCa, retail, and commodities trade. Our commitment to sustainability is evident through our focus on consolidating shipments for different markets, facilitating seamless trade globally.
PGMAG: What long-term objectives do you have for your company, and where do you see yourself in a few years?
NA: The sky is the limit, or is it? 5 years down the lane my focus is not just on the growth of my company in global trade but also grow with responsibility. Working on unique projects that would bring positive changes in the environment.
Being an environment activist, I have plans to see a better tomorrow and bring positive changes in the world we live in today!
PGMAG: Tell us a little bit about your current projects.
NA: In collaboration with Golden Star International we have launched a project GreenCom UAE introducing, a revolutionary, 100% chemicalfree, enzyme-based cleaning solution, embodying our commitment to environmental responsibility. Beyond a product launch, it's a pledge for future generations.
Launched alongside COP28, UAE, in December, 2023, it addresses health and environmental concerns, aligning with the Net zero strategy and Sustainable Development Goals of UN. Versatile applications highlight its positive impact, and GreenCom UAE inspires individuals and businesses to embrace eco-friendly solutions. With a collective commitment to sustainability, it stands as a catalyst for positive change, contributing to a greener, cleaner Earth in line with global agendas.
PGMAG: Who in your life inspires you the most?
NA: Situation! Life had its challenges… What changed me was my refusal to give up! The person in the mirror was what inspired me the most, I am by nature very analytical person and judging from friends, relatives, working with some of the king pins and leaders of their industry were all my inspirations came from but above all was my determination to be and not stop until I reach, has got me here where I am today. This is not as far as I want to be but by far way ahead from where I start from.
PGMAG: What advice would you give to the next generation of aspiring leaders?
NA: Understanding the world on a global scale is important in our interconnected society. The ongoing trend of globalization demands insightful thinking to propel our community to new heights. Encouraging people to think beyond their local surroundings helps reduce conflicts, maintain peace, and contribute to saving our planet together. Facing climate change, the biggest global challenge, needs everyone to work together. Thinking about the whole world not only helps us cooperate better but also lets us deal with common problems. It's important for each person to contribute to building a peaceful and sustainable future for all countries.
