EMPOWERING WOMEN IN THE AGE OF AI
PROF. OLGA MROZ
In the modern world, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become an integral part of our daily lives, impacting various fields from medicine to business. However, despite the widespread adoption of these technologies, many women still face barriers in understanding and utilizing AI in their professional and personal lives.
It is crucial for women to be aware of how AI algorithms and systems work to make informed decisions, protect their interests, and effectively harness new opportunities. A lack of knowledge in this area can lead to inequality, placing women in a vulnerable position compared to those who have access to this knowledge.
CEO & Founder of Al-Khalifa Business School, Professor Sir Manuel Freire-Garabal y Núñez, and I are working on a new project aimed at bridging this gap. Our goal is to create educational programs where women can access resources and support on AI-related topics.
We believe that knowledge is power, and our mission is to provide women with the tools they need to navigate a world where AI plays an increasingly important role.
Our project aims not only to educate but also to inspire women to use AI to achieve their personal and professional goals, thereby contributing to a more just and equitable society.
I am confident that education and work in the AI field open up opportunities for women in one of the fastest-growing and most promising sectors of the economy. This can lead to new avenues for career advancement and professional development, as well as an increase in the number of women leaders in technology. AI has the potential to significantly impact societal processes, so it is important for women to play a vital role in creating more ethical and inclusive systems.
I must also highlight that our project «ART & POSITIVE EMOTIONS – KEY SUCCESS”, which we also developed at Al-Khalifa Business School, continues to be very successful.
I was happy and proud to participate in a historic event — the Meeting of European and Arab Women in Berlin in November 2023. As the Chief Arts Officer, I invited all the conference participants to create a painting under my guidance. All the participants enjoyed this exciting creative process. A total of 160 people took part in creating the painting. We presented this sunny and positive artwork to celebrate the birth of the first Global Women's Forum (GWF).
Based on our project “ART & POSITIVE EMOTIONS – KEY SUCCESS”, we also organized several events in nursing homes and orphanages. These activities help create a positive emotional atmosphere and foster creativity and a positive emotional mindset for each participant, especially children.
Last year, I painted a picture titled “Women of the Universe.” Women are like small rays in the universe. They bring love, light, and peace to everyone. Women are energy from the cosmos, family, and life.
I applaud all the women of the world for their passion and dedication. I thank all women for their tireless efforts to guide our planet onto a path of sustainable development. Today, more than ever, the global economy needs these small rays to bring light, deliver a beam of equality, and eliminate all existing inequalities.
