As a part of the industry experience semester at Pearl Academy, New Delhi, I was hired as Digital Intern at Vogue India.

I moved to Mumbai (India) from October 2014 to February 2015 to be a part of the Vogue India Digital team. Under the mentorship of Sita Wadhwani, digital editor, I wrote feature stories, created graphics for the website, uploaded stories and assisted in research work. In this document I have compiled all the PDFs of the work done. These are the ones that I have been given by-lines for.

It was truly one of the most defining experiences in terms of both personal and professional growth for me.

One of t he most aut horit at ive and current voices in t he indust ry, The Business of Fashion, hosted a dinner in Delhi to celebrate their second #Bof500 print issue (an extensive list of the 500 most influential personalities in the realm of fashion). The BoF500 community is a close-knit circle of powerful voices that are responsible for shaping the course of fashion globally.

Some of t he most recognised names in t he fashion indust ry gat hered at The Leela Palace, New Delhi, on November 6 for t he celebrat ion. Co-host ed by act or and fashion icon Sonam Kapoor and Vogue India's fashion feat ures direct or Bandana Tewari, along wit h BoF's founder and edit or-in-chief – Imran Amed – t he event acknowledged t he accomplishment s of t he guiding forces behind t he fashion circuit in India.

Grant s Building, a beaut iful herit age st ruct ure on Art hur Bunder Road in Colaba, has an art sy new t enant . When lifest yle concept st ore Bungalow 8 moved out t his mont h on t he expiry of it s six-year lease, Mumbai art ist and designer Payal Khandwala moved in.

In a record five weeks, and wit hout t he aid of a decorat or, t he hands-on art ist t ransformed t he first floor loft y st udio space int o an exclusively black and gold coloured fashion bout ique for her eponymous clot hing line. The only source of colour are her clot hes and her art .

Vogue met t he designer t wo days before her opening on Oct ober 16, amidst carpent ry and pipes, t o find out what 's next in line for her brand.

"When you st ock at ot her st ores you are always a part of t heir narrat ive, not ent irely yours," says t he designer. "Here I want all t he clot hes t o be in t he cent re because we use so much colour t hat I want ed t he black t o encase it . I hardly ever wear black anymore, because I lived in New York for so long, I am done wit h wearing all t he black I could in a lifet ime."
