We catch up with all the latest news from our fantastic readers
Best wishes Off the page I was wondering if you could help me – I have recently started to make cards and, whilst watching the craft TV channels and reading articles etc, I keep hearing the term ‘off the page’. Please could you explain what this means? Joanna Stark, Southport
I visited my local craft shop today and bought issue 8 of Creative Stamping. I am thrilled to bits with it! It is astounding value for money, filled with inspiring articles and the free stamp sheet has a fantastic array of images that I will use. The free stamps have really inspired me to this make card – I hope you like it! Diana Cradduck, Carlisle
CS: Thanks for sending your card in to us Diana, it certainly is eye catching. Thank you too for your kind words about Creative Stamping – we always
love to hear what our readers think and it’s lovely to know that we are providing inspiration and ideas to a wide audience.
Wonderfully whimsical
CS: Welcome to the wonderful world of crafting Joanna! We hope that this is the start of many years of creating gorgeous projects for you. ‘Off the page’ simply means items that you have made using your craft stash that is not a card or scrapbook page, so for example the tiles and frame artwork that Helen Pritchett has created for her alcohol ink feature on page 36. I had to write in and say how much I loved the Whimsy Stamps feature in issue 8 of Creative Stamping. I have not come across this company before and I adored the fantastically cute images. I have since been onto the website and ordered lots of gorgeous stamps. I can’t wait for them to arrive so that I can get started creating cute cards for all my friends and family. Victoria Helmsley, Birmingham
CS: We love Whimsy Stamps too, Victoria. There’s always such a great selection of images to choose from and you’re certain to find something for any type of project. We hope that you continue to find other great companies from the selection that we bring you each month.
GET IN TOUCH: We love to hear your stamping stories and see your wonderful stamped creations so please drop us a line. You can email creativestamping@practicalpublishing.co.uk or write to Creative Stamping Letters, Practical Publishing, Suite G2 St Christopher House, 217 Wellington Road South, Stockport SK2 6NG. Each letter we print wins a small prize
