Thatdoesn’t mean, owever,that you’restuck eating otdogs, S’moresand beans from acan for everymeal.

rail Mix
Prep time: 10 mins Total time: 10 mins Servings: 2–add more ingredintsfor bigger groups as needed Ingredients: •2cups chocolatechips •1cup almonds •1cup raisins •1cup banana chips •1cup drycereal •1cup dried apricotsorcranerries Instructions: Useabowl to mix ll ingredients together.Use small lastic bags to portion out trail mix or your hike.
arbageBag Salad

Macaroni Soup
Prep time: 5mins Cook time: 20 mins Total time: 25 mins Servings: 4 Ingredients: •2pounds of ground beef (or other meat, chicken or turkey) •1quartofwater •2cans of stewed tomatoes •1medium onion •4handfuls of pasta •Salt and pepper to taste •French bread •Butter Instructions: Put meat in a mediumsized pot with water.Cut onion into small pieces and add with canned tomatoes to thepot. Bring all ingredients to aboil. Use aspoon to break up meatand cook until meat turns brown.
Add pasta and boil until pasta is tender. Serve with French bread and butter.
Kabobs
Prep time: 30 mins Cook time:1 hour Total time: 90 mins QUICK TIP: Assemble the kabobs at hometosaveonprep time, soaked skewers will not burn, smaller pieces of meat will cook faster! Servings: 8 Ingredients: •Wooden skewers •2lbs.boneless skinless chicken breasts •2lbs.sirlointips •2bell peppers (red or green) •2large onions •1lemon Instructions:Cut the chicken and beef up into pieces, sliceup onion andbell peppers, place vegetables
and meat through thewooden skewers andsqueeze lemon over kabobs right beforegrilling.

Servings: As needed Ingredients: •Hotdogs •Buns •Chili (canned or homemade) •Shredded cheddar •Chopped onions •Mustard •Relish Instructions: Grillasmany hotdogs as desiredfor the number of people in your camping party.Heat
up chili in apan overmedium heat. When the dogs aredone cookng, put one on abun with a esired amount of mustard, some hili, chopped onions, and ahandul of cheese.
oil Pack Meals
Preptime: 10 mins Cook time: 30 mins Total time: 40 mins Servings: 4 Ingredients: •1pound meat (hamburger, hicken, shrimp) •Mixed vegetables (onion, roccoli, potatoes, carrots) •Salt and pepper,totaste •Butter •Heavyduty foilorfoilpouches Instructions: Layoutfour foil sheets 12 inches in length. Cut meat into bite-sizedpieces. Add a serving to center of each foil pack.
Add chopped vegetables of choice to each. Potatoes and carrots areveryhard, so sliceinto smaller than bite-size pieces or used the canned variety.Add butter or cooking spray to make sure the whole thing doesn’t stick to the foil.
Season and close thebag or fold foil with center seam and ends sealed well. Cook over fire. Can be done directly on coals, but you must turn more frequently.Rotate and turnoften with tongs for about 20 minutes, open andcheck on how the food is progressing from time to time.
Remove from heat and allow them to cool on the ground or othr safe surface. Open carefully, team maybehot.Eat from pened foil with afork!
Easy Burritos Ground Beef Dish
Prep time: 10 mins Cook time: 20 mins Total time: 30 min Servings: 6-9 Ingredients: •1to 2pounds leanground beef or other lean meat) •2cans of beans •1tablespoon chopped garlic •1tablespoon chili powder
•1jar or package of salsa
• Lettuce •Sharp cheddar cheese, grated •Flour tortillas Instructions: Using alarge skillet, brown ground beef or other lean meat. Add salsa to skillet and cook for5mins. Add beans,chili powder,and garlic. Stir ingredients togetherand cook for15mins at low heat.
Serve on flour tortillas with lettuce and cheese.
Quick Pizza
Prep time: 5mins Cook time: 3mins Total time: 8mins Servings: 6 Ingredients: •1package of pita bread •3cup grated mozzarella cheese •1jar of tomato sauce •1package of sliced pepperoni •Any other favoritetoppings Instructions: Cut one pita bread in half and pour in tomatosauce and spread out with spoon inside. Add cheese and pepperoni, along with other toppings of your choosing.
Wrap pita in heavydutyfoil and place on hot coals. Cook for aminute and ahalf on eachside, plenty of time to meltthe cheeseand warmthe pita up. Open andserve.
Breakfast Scramble

Total time: 20 mins Servings: 4 Ingredients: •8eggsorliquid eggs •6hash brown patties •6slices of ham •1bell pepper •Salt and pepper to taste •Halfofone onion •4mushrooms Instructions: Chop bell pepper, mushrooms, and ham intosmaller pieces. Warm skillet under medium heat and scramble eggs. Add hash brown pattiesand break up with fork and mix into eggs.Next add chopped onions, mushrooms, and ham to scramble. Finally add salt andpepper to taste.
Add ketchup or hot sauce for additional flavor.

Cook time: 10 mins Total time:15mins Servings: 4 Ingredients: •8slices of yourfavorite bread •8eggs •8slices of ham •8slices of cheese Instructions: Warm askillet over acampstove and use cooking spray or buttertogrease the pan. Using acookiecutter or adrinking glass, cut out aholeinthe center of your bread.
Place the bread in the skillet and toast on both sides.Next, crack an egg or pour liquidegg intothe hole in the bread and cook until the egg while is almostsolid. Flip the bread over and place aslice of cheese and then aslice on ham on top.
Once thecheese has melted the meal is ready to serve.
