Our sale committee ganged up on me. Fancy Pants is the best heifer calf I have ever sold in my 37 years raising Simmentals. A daughter of the show champion maker “Wide Track”. She is the first daughter of Donovandale Bailey 2B. Bailey never lets us down, whether it’s bringing home banners from Expo Boeuf and the Royal to producing exceptional bulls with that added muscle and wide butt ends. Her first bull calf was weighed off at 80% of her body weight. Last years may be my best bull ever. Fancy Pants is definitely my favourite. She has the look and power to be a great one. We would like to reserve the right to a shared flush at the convenience of the purchaser.

Lacombe’s Farm is excited to have the opportunity to consign at the Stars of the Valley sale. Farrah is definitely a heifer that we could easily retain in our herd. However, we decided to share her with our fellow breeders, giving someone the opportunity to build on this great female. Farrah is a fancy polled heifer with solid colour and good pigmentation. She is a Bank Roll heifer showing lots of potential and maturing fast. Her dam is red and she has an excellent udder and great feet. We are sure that Farrah will make a front pasture cow at her new home.

We are very pleased to have the opportunity to consign to the Stars of the Valley Sale. We decided to offer a granddaughter of two historic bulls, Wallbanger and 680S. This heifer’s dam was purchased at the 2015 Friday Night Lights Sale and comes from Ultra Livestock’s elite Cassade 90N cow family. Her mother is a young cow with a superb udder. This calf has a ton of performance and eye appeal and is as gentle as a lamb. Miss Casabella is halter broke, has been shown as a 4H project, and is up to date on vaccinations.

This powerful heifer comes from some of our home breeding. She is out of a heavy milking cow that we bought from Greyledge Simmentals. She is a sound moving heifer with lots of stoutness. She was one that was not touched until the middle of September and was not lacking any performance when we brought her in. Her mother has not missed a beat in our program and we feel that this heifer will do the same for someone else’s.

She is the type of female that we strive to produce, very sound structured, smooth made, eye appealing, and backed by a great pedigree. She is extremely quiet, was a 4-H project as a calf and is on the show string again this year. Her mother always raises a good one and we are confident that 15E will do the same. Her early mating to Bounty Hunter is a great opportunity to get in on some fresh new genetics.

Terms & Conditions Terms: The terms of the sale are cash or cheque payable at par at the sale location. All settlements must be mad with the clerks of the sale before any cattle are released.
Certificate of Registry: The proper registration or recordation paper, as the case my be, will be duly transferred and furnished to the buyer for each animal after settlement has been made.
Credit Arrangements: The sale committee request that potential buyers make credit arrangements with the individual seller prior to the sale.
Shipping: Assistance will be given in making shipment after the sale, but the Sale Managers or seller assumes no risk. Expenses incurred are the responsibility of the purchaser. Purchasers are requested to furnish shipping instructions when making settlement.
Bid: Every animal consigned to the sale must be sold by auction. No private sale will be allowed except as otherwise provided for in the terms and conditions. No by-bidding will be permitted. Each animal will be sold to the highest bidder. Disputes: In case of disputes bidding will be reopened between the parties involved. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision in suck matters will be final. Purchaser’s Risk: Each animal becomes the rick of the purchaser as soon as it is sold. Animals will be cared for at the purchaser’s risk for a reasonable length of time. Announcements: From the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay attention to any such announcement.
Health: All animals will have passed the required tests as determined by Agriculture Canada at sale location. It is the buyer’s responsibility to determine health requirements for importing any animals into their province or state. Sales Management assumes no responsibility for the health status of any animal in the sale Breeders Guarantee: Cows represented as being “pregnancy tested safe” have been examined and declared safe in calf by a licensed veterinarian and will be accompanied by a veterinarians certificate to this effect. They are considered breeders without further guarantee. Cows and heifers represented as “bred” are not guaranteed safe in calf, but they and open heifers selling as individual lots are guaranteed as breeders. No guarantee shall apply to suckling calves.
In the event a female is claims to be a non-breeder and after having been bred regularly to a bull known to be a breeder and after having been treated by a licensed veterinarian, the matter must be reported in writing to the seller within six months of sale date. For heifers under twelve months of age and purchased as single lots and who fail to conceive to the service of a bull known to be a breeder, the matter must be reported to the seller before the heifer reaches eighteen months of age. The seller shall have six addition months in which to prove any such female a breeder and may use any registered bull of the breed available to him. Any female returned will be at the purchaser’s risk. No guarantee is given that a pregnant female will deliver live calves, nor that she will carry calves to full term, nor that the calf carried will not be mummified. The seller is not responsible for damage caused by foreign bodies after the animal has been sold. Nor for sickness not apparent at sale time. Exceptions To Guarantee: In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproduction techniques after the sale, the guarantee shall be null and void. Settlements: transportation charges on animals returned to the seller are for account of the purchaser. No incidental expenses such as feed, A.I signing fees,
interest, vetrinay charges, etc. will be charged by either party when making settlement. If the seller is successful in proving the animal is a breeder, then said animal will be reclaimed by the purchaser at his expense. Should the seller fail to so prove the animal a breeder, then the buyer will guaranteed a satisfactory replacement F.O.B ranch or location or original or a refund of the purchase price paid F.O.B selling point. In no event shall the seller be responsible for more than the purchase price. Should a dispute a rise over the quality of a replacement animal, the Sale Management will appoint a mediator. Rights & Obligations: The above terms and conditions of the sale shall constitute a contract between the buyers and the seller and be equally binding to both. Resale of animals following the purchase in this sale shall constitute a separate transaction and the rights and obligations of the two parties concerned thereto are not covered by the terms and conditions of the sale. Tampering: Any person caught tampering with any cattle entered in the sale ring or administering any product, solution or liquid internally will be disqualified from the sale. Further, that person will be required to leave the premises.
