VIRGINIA CLUB CALF PRODUCERS

10TH ANNUAL EASTERN ELITE JANUARY 30, 2021 | HARRISONBURG, VIRGINIA | STARTS TO CLOSE AT 7:00 PM following Heifer Show at the VCCP Winter Classic Jackpot Show.

We would like to Welcome you (virtually) to the 10th annual VCCP Eastern Elite Sale. Due to Covid, we have moved our sale online this year and are happy to be working with the folks at SC Online Sales. The sale cattle will be at the VCCP Show / Sale, just like they always are, but the bidding will take place online. We are thankful that we are still able to have the show and sale, but we are also trying to be cautious and observe all CDC guidelines so that everyone can be safe as this virus has touched us all in some manner. We appreciate you taking the time to review this offering, because this is a great set of cattle and genetics. There are some tremendous prospects in this year’s offering in all divisions: breds, opens, Bulls, and genetic opportunities. Please come and look at the offering or review online – If you have not used an online platform before and would like to bid, please reach out to one of the committee members and we can assist you with your bidding – We want to make sure you get the opportunity at this set of cattle and genetics. For those that don’t know, the sale will start closing at a set time (likely 7pm or 8pm that evening) and continue until there are no more active bids, which means it will probably be over around the same time the live sale ended. We will have a computer set up in the sale barn on Saturday evening while the sale is closing and can assist you with bidding. Thank you – Happy New Year – Be safe in your endeavors – look forward to your participation at VCCP 2021. VCCP Sale Committee,

Clint Lyle 540-292-5953 Neal Buchanan 540-578-4754 JT Begoon 540-430-1716 Aaron Figgins 540-908-8124 | Brennan Miller 540-383-4211 will be in charge of the barns. They will assist with barn needs, collecting health papers, and load out.

DOB: MARCH, 2019 WALKS ALONE Sire: HERE I AM Dam:

Let’s just be honest here. This heifer possesses all the tools to take you to the next level. She checks all the boxes you hear all the judges talk about in the ring. Bone: Check, Muscle: Check, Soundness: Check, Big Topped: Check, Sexy Front End: Check, Big Haired: Check. On top of being phenotypically exactly what we want, genetically she may be even better. This heifer (Maze) is a Here I am daughter (ask some of the nations top cattlemen about their HIA daughters) out of a Sooner x 602G (possibly the best club calf cow to ever walk the earth) daughter that Greg Sharp is currently flushing in Ohio. 1602, the mother of Maze, was a top selling bred heifer in the Sullivan spring calving cow herd dispersal. As soon as her first calf by HIA hit the ground. 1602 was out into the donor pen. This calf went on to an undefeated show season in Ohio for the Thompsons. Here you get to bid on a heifer that is full sib to that steer. The quality of cattle that you have to produce today to be competitive is tough. When you find one that looks the part and has the genetics to back it up, just raise your hand. Seller retains the right to 1 successful flush of at least 5 embryos at sellers expense and buyers convenience. Bred to Direct Whiskey - Due 3/28/21

This is one of my better 1st calf heifers. I kept her because of her size and style. She is really good through her front 1/3 of her body. Her shoulders and neck really set her off. She goes back to the old bull Dream On, so I know she will make a good cow. She has the power and style to produce the clean fronted calves we all like to see. She has the udder and teat size that will keep her going for a long time. It was a little late getting her bred, so she did not calve until June, but her heifer calf was worth waiting for. AGH IRISH CREAM UNSTOPPABLE SUNRISE DREAMER

Don’t let his name fool you, Eclipse will sure shine a lot of light on your next calf crop. His Unstoppable dam originated from the Sunrise Club calf program in PA. This summer, with plans of Maine Jr. Nationals being sideline, Eclipse had the opportunity to run 60 days clean up on twenty cows and held his body condition very well. Eclipse earned Reserve Calf Champion Honors at the 2020 PA Farm Show, being gentle enough to be showed by our 14 year daughter. We feel his dimensional shape, soft center, and soundness will compliment those clubby females to produce some banner chasing steers. His real calling will be in his maintainer influenced heifers that he produces. We all know the influence Unstoppable has had on the club calf industry. If you’re looking for a show bull that will pay you back in the field, look for Eclipse on sale day, he won’t be in the dark. Retaining 1/4 semen interest.

Long sided, big hipped, sound and flexible. Backed by the famous Emerald Lady 138M, here is a great option to inject more maternal and function into a bunch of cows. We have sisters in production that have made high sellers and I believe he will make the kinds of females that will do the same. If you need a bull to add some function and look into your cattle, this is the guy.

MISS WERNING KP 8543U ELLINGSTON LEGACY M229 GBC MISS IRA OF RITA6M45 RITA 6M45 OF RITA F46

This bull is one that will create some excitement in the pasture in the future. He should be extremely fertile as his dam produced 138 embryos over 3 conventional flushes. Miss IRA originally sold in the very first Eastern Elite Sale as a pregnancy from the very Elite Wehrman Angus Herd. The only crossed female ever off this farm to the great sire Olie. She appears again in the 2014 Eastern Elite Sale as a bred heifer safe in calf to Secret Weapon and demanded $13,500 in the sale ring - KOAL Cattle then purchased Miss IRA and put her in the flush pen. After 3 flushes we decided to sell her to let someone else enjoy her for a while, This time she demanded $8000 as an 8 year old, bid with confidence on this bull and the embryo packages including full sibs

Katrina is level topped wih an impressive hip structure and has a big deep rib. This mating to Broker stacks up the most profitable and predictable genetics in the Simmental Breed. Remember Broker semen is now off the market.

Talk about a cow that was hot when she topped the First Class female sale in 2016. Well, she is hotter now. After she found her new home for Mimms and Sharp, she produced a heifer calf that won the Iowa Beef Expo and a steer won the State Fair of Texas or Dallas steer show as it is known. All this a year after one of her calves won the Missouri State Fair Market steer show and another won the Badger Kick-off Classic. To date Aggie has produced no less than 11 calves that have cracked the $20,000 mark. An IGWT x Aggie was one of the winningest steers on the summer / fall Texas jackpot circuit.

This is the $52,000 feature of the Reimann Dispersal and she is quite a sight in the Hereford Vet Clinic Pens; definitely one of the mot impressive cows on the place. Her first two embryo steers sold for $16,500 and $4,500. The higher seller was raised by Shane Lutrick, NM from an embryo purchase. This cow is special.

Very few cows stand the test of time. This one has. Every new mating we try on her seems to be better than the last, and now that her daughters are in production they too are passing on the same traits that made so many of 4250 s calves winners. Expect sound, big bellied, powerful calves that sell quickly. Gurney Farms in NW Ohio bought these in a previous VCCP sale and sold a high dollar steer this fall that paid for eggs several times over.

Here is the $23,000 2018 sale feature from the 2018 Donors Unlimited. This cow is double clean and is an absolute beast. Her first two natural calves fetched a nice premium and she is proven herself to make the donor pen. We stack the pedigrees that work for us- this beautiful program changer is out of a TJ donor that is a maternal sister to a former Reserve champion steer at Forth worth and the granddam is the incomparable 401 Blue Chip cow that has produced so much. This Donor was the lot #1 bred heifer in the Renown First Class Female sale in 2013. She was one of the top sellers that day and is still quiet a site to see. These eggs have not been offered before and we are starting to have second thoughts – Rumor is that a full sib steer to this mating is the best calf in the pens in Hereford Texas and a second one is in the lead pen as well; if you have ever been to Hereford, you know that this is a big deal. Jump on these while they are available, because they may not be again.

The 2017 win comes following a long list of other winning sisters and high sellers that 4267 has generated, including the 2016 NAILE Grand Champion Junior MaineTainer Heifer shown by the Walker family that also won countless other shows. This heifer sold in the 2015 Bushy Park fall sale for $100,000, while a full sib also sold in that sale for $27,500. Both of these pregnancies were a result of a past VCCP Eastern Elite purchase by Bushy Park.
