Pranava
Welcome to the Hanuman Issue of Pranava Magazine, Autumn 2014! Summertime, like Hanuman, was so radiantly bright & hot, so activating & eventful with lots of travel, & just as swift as Hanuman, it came & gone like the wind! As the falling leaves are being offered onto the ground, I am overjoyed to present to you our last issue of the year as an offering, in where we honor the ‘Divine Masculine’!
The  Voice  of  the  Life-Force  in  motion The  Primordial  Seed  Mantra  OM The  All-Pervasive  Creative  Word  of  GOD
Very often nowadays (and for good reason!), we hear about the Divine Feminine & Her amazing powers that lend toward mind-transformation & healing the planet! I’m am in full support of that! Who on earth isn’t?! Yet due to the tipping of the scales toward the patriarchal-masculine for over the last 3-5000 years or so, we don’t hear much about the Divine Masculine, even though His archetypes are everywhere, & all around us. So what is the Divine Masculine? In my personal view, He first & foremost serves the Divine Feminine. The Divine Masculine is that particular aspect of the collective male energy that strives toward truth, clarity, balance, justice, & equal rights. The Divine Masculine stands in service of love & righteousness at whatever costs & even sacrifices his self interests to benefit many. Yhe Divine Masculine embraces the Inner Feminine principle & strives incessantly to develop mother-like attributes to enhance the qualities of the father-male figure role.

The Divine Masculine is always working to empower, uplift & heal the feminine, knowing that without this particular cosmic force, nothing would have the ground to stand upon, & this manifests in many ways from working to restore balance in nature, & in serving the Goddess in human expression as Mother, Daughter, Sister, Beloved, etc.

What better figure is there that embodies the Divine Masculine than Hanumanji?! Most would quickly turn to Sri Krishna, Moses, Padmasambhava, Rama, & Jesus, H.H. The Dalai Lama as the expressive embodiments of the Divine Masculine, & indeed they are! Yet, upon understanding the deep teachings in the story of the Ramayana, we see Hanuman showing us the perfect example of what Divine Masculinity is & how it shows up in the world. Hanuman is the true hero’s Hero! We must put our animal nature under the service of the Divine at all times.
