TEXAS LIMOUSIN ASSOCIATION BENEFIT AUCTION
A LETTER FROM THE EXECUTIVE SECRETARY Fellow Members and Friends, As I write this letter for the TLA News a couple of cliches come to mind, “time flies when you’re having fun” and “all things must come to an end.” I began this journey as a board member in 1997, after two terms on the board I accepted the position of Executive Secretary in 2004, and now the time has come for change. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity to work with so many dedicated breeders and this great breed of cattle. I never dreamed when I became involved with the TLA that I would learn to publish a magazine, manage consignment sales, announce at shows, learn Quik Books and emcee banquets. But with a lot of help from good people, I managed to get it done. Along the way I made several mistakes, and regrettably some of those mistakes caused strife and division among the members. I can truthfully say every decision I made was to help members successfully market their cattle and to treat everyone the same. I believe there is great opportunity for members of the TLA going forward. With a fresh approach and leadership from the Board of Directors the best is yet to come. I will continue to be a member of the TLA and support its endeavors. Thank You All!
Sincerely,
Ralph
