Help us celebrate the big 100!

Be sure to take time to wish two of our community members a happy upcoming birthday!

Amy Hoffman and Ruby McBee both will celebrate their 100 birthdays in October.

Ruby was born on October 9, and Amy was born on Oct. 15.

We are so thankful for the chance to celebrate their birthdays, and grateful that they’ll be able to share the fun with all of us at Salina Presbyterian Manor. u

Celebrating our physical therapy team

September 8th is World Physical Therapy Day - and we want to make sure we take a few moments to celebrate our outstanding therapists.

Jodi has been a CNA for 41 years, and a therapy assistant for 20 of those years. She’s been a part of the Presbyterian Manor family for 30 years, four of those with Aegis.

Elizabeth is an occupational therapist with five years of experience. She’s been with Presbyterian Manor and Aegis for two of those years.

Danielle has 11 years of experience as a certified physical therapy aide, with three years working with the Manor and Aegis.

Together this team works to ensure that our residents receive the best therapy services available - designed to help them live the richest lives possible. u

Welcome to the exclusive XC club

The newest place to be at Salina Presbyterian Manor isn’t just for anyone - in fact you’ll have to check your

identification at the door to make sure your membership is valid.

Club XC - reserved only for those members aged 90 and over - kicked off recently with more than 50 members. Betty Rassette brought her well-traveled passport to secure her membership, while Bill Dresse expressed glee at joining so many others to celebrate the good life at age 90.

Betty

The keynote speaker for the kickoff of Club XC was the Dr. Rev. Allen D. Smith, who is currently serving his 24th year as the senior pastor of St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church in Salina. u

Salina Presbyterian Manor shares customer service survey responses

Salina Presbyterian Manor continues to seek customer feedback through monthly telephone surveys. Each month, residents and their representatives are randomly selected to participate in telephone satisfaction surveys conducted by Pinnacle Quality Insight.

The graphic highlights recent survey results. All scores are given on a 5point scale, with 5 being the highest score and 1 the lowest score. Between July 2022 and June 2023, Salina

Presbyterian Manor residents and their families gave the community high scores for demonstrating dignity and respect, safety and security, and professional therapy. Many would also recommend the community to others.

“I appreciate the care they provide,” said one responded. “I appreciate the activities they provide here. I appreciated our general experience here.”

We greatly value the opinions of our

residents and their representatives about the care and services we provide, and we encourage them to participate honestly when contacted by Pinnacle Quality Insight. All state and federal confidentiality laws are met in Pinnacle’s service. u
