It’s a Great Day
to Be a Panther
The moment you step onto Presentation’s campus, you’ll quickly realize that we are more than just a school—we’re an inclusive, Catholic college preparatory community serving young women. Our transformative education, rooted in faith, justice, compassion, and love, inspires students to bring positive change to the world. Nestled in the quiet Willow Glen neighborhood of San Jose, Presentation proudly lays the foundation for young women to thrive academically, personally, and completely. On more occasions than we can count, we have reminisced on memories of our close-knit community of teachers, coaches, program directors, and peers encouraging fellow Panthers to be their most authentic selves and discover what makes them truly unique. Presentation proudly upholds a more than 60-year legacy of developing strong women and changemakers. Our tradition is one of academic rigor, faith, wellness, and service. This legacy is not merely something we preserve; it is something we celebrate and build upon every day. Thank you for exploring our vibrant community. Our dedicated educators are here to support you every step of the way. Sincerely,
Holly Elkins

Academic Experience From Photography to Ethnic Studies, and advanced placement courses to language classes, every course is designed to ignite curiosity and build the personalized skills Panthers need to thrive in college and beyond. And they’ll never have to do it alone—at Presentation, high academic expectations are partnered with an extraordinary community of support. 6 PRESENTATION HIGH SCHOOL

INSTRUCTIONAL MODEL Presentation's instructional model is rooted in three simple beliefs. First, that students thrive in a supportive learning community—from teachers and counselors committed to individual growth, to supportive peers and involved parents. Second, students learn best when their curriculum builds a strong foundation of perseverance and flexible thinking, not just figuring out the right answer. Known as the productive struggle,

find a solution. Third, that education is most effective when students can envision themselves using the skills they learn in their own lives—which is why our instruction is designed to be culturally responsive and embrace hands-on learning.
PERSONALIZED SUPPORT Our school’s intentionally intimate size of 550 students empowers teachers and resources to support our students unique needs, like The Learning Commons, where an Instructional Librarian helps students dive deep into topics of interest, as well as a full-time learning specialist and a para-professional that assist students needing additional academic support.
INTEGRATING TECHNOLOGY WITH OUR HANDS-ON APPROACH Students and families commend our hands-on learning approach that prepares our Panthers for success in college and life beyond the classroom. This can look like networking at your first conference, or asking questions at a campus-run panel of industry professionals. Sometimes it looks like integrating cutting-edge technology
