The New Year begins, and so does a new chapter for Dark Beauty. We have officially changed our name to Dark Beauty. Allowing us to grow in other categories other than just our magazine. We are also making some drastic changes and big moves to better serve the artist in our community. You may have noticed a considerably smaller issue. Smaller equals better to us. We are going to spend more time paying attention to artist with interviews, questions and answers and limiting the number of submission we have in each of our issues. This allows us to focus more online where content is immediate with a larger reach and an even better opportunity to share more art from around the globe. We are beyond excited about these changes, we think our readership will grow along with prices of print going way down, allowing you the reader to get more of Dark Beauty in your hands. aving lived in a creative world growing up with influences from his father, Davide, an Italian artist has spent his life mastering his passions. Picking up photography at an early age, Davide continued his studies tough school to become the photographer he is today. From shooting friends, classmates and creating in his free time, Davide took his work a step further to weddings and other random work around his city. Now working more in a studio, his focus is fashion and portrait work. Davide works with the best in the industry, Allure Models, to amazing stylists bringing him some of the top names in fashion. We provided Davide with some questions, think you will enjoy learning more about him and his process. What inspires you for a shoot? There is no role. Sometimes I have an idea on my mind and I just try to put it on a shoot but in other cases, I simply see something or someone interesting and the idea for a series comes out naturally. When I think of a fashion shooting, I often take inspiration from the works I see around me (I spend a lot 5
