EDITORIAL SOME WORDS Where is flight simulation heading to? One of the most asked questions the last few month. Prepar3D v3 is out since Sep 30th but not as a 64 bit version. It brings a great improvement on performance and VAS management. A great innovation on Microsoft based FSX/ESP structures. Great to approach at HD airports in a complex add-on aircraft without getting an VAS error and a CTD. Now it is time to enjoy flying long hauls to a mayor airport. It will need some time until all developers have their installers ready for Prepar v3 - but some already did the job.

Computerpilot will be published bimonthly. Available at Google Play, App Store and our website. Prior owners of a subscription will get Computerpilot for free until their old subscription expires. Just get in contact with me. Please use the email shown in the imprint for that purpose. So now enjoy your favourite flight simulation magazine. Blue skies and many happy landings.

X-Plane is now 10.40 - another step foreward in 3D scenery add-ons and with a much more better view on the ground textures from high flight levels. A new release of Sky Max Pro v3 will bring real weather to another level in X-Plane.

Andreas Giel Editor in chief

Computerpilot is back to business. With a new team under a new lead we will bring back one of the legends in flight simulation reviews. Once founded in australia - now published in europe - made by an international team of flight simulation enthusiasts. Mistakes were made in the past. The printed version of the magazine was a financial disaster. We are now looking straight forward with a new concept. Computerpilot is now released in two languages - english and german strictly as an epaper. In addition we will publish reviews on our web portal for free and special content as a pay per view or membership offer. Not to make money but to refinance the servers.
