ay goodbye to boring default scenery forever! MegaSceneryX transforms your Microsoft Flight Simulator X Scenery World from artificial… to REAL! MegaSceneryX is created from high resolution aerial photos. What you get is not just a recreation of the real world but instead the actual real world ported into Microsoft Flight Simulator X for simulated flight over a world that’s so real you’ll be amazed! MegaSceneryX lets you experience all the landmarks and features of the area covered and enables you to fly real VFR – Day and Night. Here’s what you get when you’re flying MegaSceneryX….

Near Palm Springs. Mt San Jacinto rendered in “down-to-the rock” detail.

• Hyper-realistic scenery at 1.19 meters per pixel recreated from 1 and 2 feet per pixel aerial photos. It’s the real world teleported into Flight Simulator Scenery. 1.19 meters meters per pixel means that you can even see the rooftop on your own house and sand traps on golf courses. Fly VFR like you’ve never flown it before on a PC simulator.

• Faster Framerates! Yes, your Flight Simulator, with hyper-realistic MegaScenery, will run smoother and faster than the default artificial scenery. • Developed specifically for Microsoft Flight Simulator X

• Day and Night Scenery. Soar and explore the real world - during the day and at night!

• Printed full color aeronautical charts, bound printed instrument charts and a sizeable manual

• Hi-resolution DEM (mesh). While MegaScenery is so realistic that you don’t need hi-res mesh - our recent releases incorporate hi-res mesh at 10 meters per pixel.

• A total value packed, realism transforming scenery product For Microsoft Flight Simulator X that you wouldn’t think was possible for such a low price!

From the Editor Welcome to the October issue. Following up on emails received from readers regarding magazine content, I would like to get your feedback, as current readers/subscribers, on the following magazine issues. If you would like to have your say on the following items, shoot me an email at editor@computerpilot.com with your answers… 1. Would you like to see more, or less, content related to the X-Plane Simulator? 2. Would you like to see more, or less, content related to older flight sim software (not including content already covered for these simulators)? 3. Do you want to see our back issues information page return to the full article listing format for more recent issues? (bear in mind that we do have an online database search function on our website now). 4. Should we focus more on online flight simulation content or coverage, or just stick with content and articles that relate to offline flying (i.e. flying by yourself)? 5. Do you think our content is varied enough? Or perhaps too varied and not specifically focused on certain areas? 6. Regarding question 5, which areas would you like to see us focus more on? 7. Do you have a favorite Computer Pilot author? If so, who? And what about their writing do you find most appealing? 8. Do you have a favorite Computer Pilot column or regular feature? If so, what is it and why do you like it? 9. What was your all-time favorite Computer Pilot Magazine article or article series? And why? 10. What would you like to see as a yearly feature in Computer Pilot? Well, that should keep you engaged in your email program for an hour or more! I look forward to hearing your replies. They will shape the future content of the magazine! Enjoy this issue, and I look forward to implementing your ideas in upcoming issues to ensure we are meeting as many reader’s sim needs as possible!
