— Riviera Nayarit, Mexico Banhado pelo Oceano Pacífico, envolto numa floresta tropical e emoldurado por montanhas vulcânicas, o One&Only Mandarina é uma ode à natureza, pensado como um santuário a céu aberto e como celebração da herança cultural mexicana. Entrelaçado na floresta da Riviera Nayarit, perto de Punta Mia, este hotel convida a uma conexão com o nosso interior. De design e arquitectura inteligentes e sustentáveis, neste projecto assinado pelo Studio Rick Joy, é evidente o respeito pela atmosfera envolvente, harmonizada com os edifícios que compõem o resort, spa, as casas privadas e Clube de Polo Equestre. Este resort, à beira-mar plantado, com 105 vilas independentes e casas nas árvores espalhadas pela selva densa que as abraça, é uma experiência dinâmica projectada para que “aqueles que visitam sintam a intemporalidade da natureza e a singularidade deste lugar”. A convite da RLH Properties, e em colaboração com a FRB Arquitectura, JSa e Broissin Architects numa primeira fase, formaram uma equipa multidisciplinar e internacional para criar aquilo a que chamariam de “experiência sensorial”. Destaca-se a paisagem única – materializada pela equipa dos arquitectos paisagistas

One&Only Mandarina

Bathed by the Pacific Ocean, nestled in a tropical rainforest and framed by volcanic mountains, One&Only Mandarina is an ode to nature, designed as an open-air sanctuary and a celebration of Mexico’s cultural heritage. Tucked into the Riviera Nayarit forest near Punta Mia, this hotel beckons us to connect with our inner selves. With its intelligent and sustainable design and architecture, this project, signed by Studio Rick Joy, demonstrates an obvious respect for the surrounding environment, harmonised with the buildings that comprise the resort, spa, private villas and equestrian polo club. This resort, located on the edge of the ocean planted with its 105 independent villas and tree houses scattered in the dense jungle that embraces them, is a dynamic experience designed so that “those who visit feel the timelessness of nature and the uniqueness of this place”. Following an invitation from RLH Properties, and in collaboration with FRB Architecture, JSa and Broissin Architects first formed a multidisciplinary and international team to create what they would describe as a “sensory experience”. The unique landscape – shaped by

Foi em Londres que as sinergias aconteceram e a dupla Kallos Turin combinou o rigor do minimalismo com a vontade de desafiar uma abordagem mais redutora na criação de formas. Com projectos residenciais, culturais e comerciais, os apontamentos de extravagância e excentricidade contrastam com a simplicidade da arquitectura das designers.
It was in London that the synergies emerged and the Kallos Turin duo combined the precision of minimalism with a desire to challenge a more reductionist approach to the creation of forms. With residential, cultural and commercial projects to their name, the notes of their extravagance and eccentricity contrast with the simplicity of the architecture of these designers.

Spring announced The famous Pink House, built in 1826, was, for some of its life, one of the most inspiring venues in Greenwich Village, bringing together personalities from the arts and New York high society. Today, the pink colour of the façade has given way to a glowing ochre, ushering in a glorious new life. 125
