A Winter Wonderland

From the Editors
Sometimes, even a simple quote can inspire an entire spread or a performance that suspends us so that you forget time and just revel in the beauty of it all. Winter was designed around the theme of love and all its delightful imperfections since Valentine’s Day falls in this season as well as our favorite performance of the year, The Nutcracker. Performed by the Marion Ballet and lead by company owner Nicole Benson, this is a performance you will not want to miss. Every detail in every scene and moment was designed so artistically that you will find yourself captivated. In this issue we hope you will find Christ in Christmas with an adorable manger scene, cut out your very own paper doll designed and illustrated by a local teen talent, be inspired to throw your very own Nutcracker Suite Party with all the sugary confectionary details, Valentine crafts with a whimsical touch, and a New Year’s celebration packed full of glitter. As always and in true Momazine style we hope to have taken the simplicity of childhood to the next level. So enjoy winter through the eyes of a child. There is nothing quite like it.
May your days be merry & bright

“But after he had considered this, an angel of the lord appeared to [Joseph] in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” Matthew 1:20-25
