‘Swiss Army Man’ Trailer: The Paul Dano-Daniel Radcliffe Pic That Polarized Sundance No commentary here, just the trailer for the movie that spurred walkouts and praise in Park City a few months back. Here is a look at Swiss Army Man, which won writerdirectors Daniels (aka Daniel Kwan & Daniel Scheinert) the directing prize at Sundance. Really, you’ll just have to watch and decide/interpret for yourself. Paul Dano, who played the young Brian Wilson in last year’s Love & Mercy, is a wholly different kind of beach boy here. He’s Hank, who is marooned on a deserted island and, having lost all hope of making it home, has decided to check out on his own terms. What follows is not exactly Weekend At Bernie’s but … well, this you gotta see. Mary Elizabeth Winstead co-stars in Swiss Army Man, which A24 picked up after its polarizing world premiere at Sundance. The distributor, which scored a Best Picture Oscar nom with Room and the docu trophy for Amy, also is bringing another festival prizewinning out-there pic to North America this year in The Lobster. Meanwhile, check out the Swiss Army Man trailer above and let us know what you think. Oh, and here is the new poster:
