The Prevent Cancer Foundation’s 26th Annual Gala, The Kingdom of the Netherlands: A Virtual Masterpiece in Bloom, took place on September 10, 2020, as a livestreamed virtual event. The evening was filled with exciting performances and inspiring stories.

VIEWED

More than 1,000 people viewed the virtual Gala.

SUPPORTED

One of the evening’s most emotional moments came when Foundation board member Susanna Quinn shared the story of her triumph over ovarian cancer in a video featuring many of her friends, family and supporters.

HOSTED

Fox News National Security Correspondent and Foundation board member Jennifer Griffin stepped in at the last minute and was outstanding as the evening’s master of ceremonies—the key role in weaving together a virtual experience for everyone at home to enjoy.

PERFORMED

The evening’s pool of talent included notable musicians, actors, advocates and performers, including 311, Lauren Daigle, Alejandro Escovedo, Luis Guzmán, Ernie Hudson, Jeremy Ragsdale, Ali Rogin, Sheppard and Max Weinberg.

RAISED

The Virtual Gala raised $1.56 million for Foundation programs— an INCREASE from the 2019 in-person event.

“Although we cannot meet in person, the Foundation’s mission is too important to cancel or postpone the Gala, so we carry on as best as we can, just like the longtime friends and partners we are.”

– His Excellency, the Ambassador of the Netherlands, André Haspels
