Welcome to the WA Mining Exhibition and Conference

Western Australia’s leading technology event makes its long-awaited return to Perth, once again underscoring the state’s critical role in the resource industry’s digital evolution.

For the last five years, the WA Mining Exhibition and Conference (WA Mining) has been a must-attend event for the state, uniting key industry players and showcasing innovations that will build businesses and prepare them for future challenges.

WA is an important market for the industry, and this event is specifically designed to connect businesses, buyers and sellers in mining. By holding an industry-leading event in WA, industry figures don’t have to go over to the eastern seaboard to engage with people in the mining community.

Over the two-day event, Perth’s Convention and Exhibition Centre will be overtaken by all things mining and technology, with the exhibition floor showcasing industry-leading solutions that combine digital innovation with operational and executional excellence.

Building on last year’s success, the 2024 event features an even bigger range of exhibitors, with more than 120 big names, including Epiroc, ifm, Motion, RaptorTech and Blackwoods, poised to showcase their high-quality solutions and share with attendees the ways they can boost their businesses.

The Decarbonisation Showcase was a popular feature last year and returns in 2024 to spotlight the top tier solutions driving the industry’s decarbonisation journey.

Running alongside the exhibition, the highly targeted paid conference is aimed at C-suite and D-suite mining teams and will unpack and explore the biggest themes across the sector, including critical minerals, cyber security in mining operations and tailings management.

WA Minister for Mines and Petroleum, David Michael, will deliver the opening keynote, kicking off two days where attendees can expect to hear intelligent industry analysis from government, industry and academic personnel.

Attendees can expect plenty of networking opportunities across the two days. Don’t forget to attend the networking event on Tuesday evening to network with peers and strengthen business relationships.

In other exciting news, the esteemed Australian Mining Prospect Awards are heading west for the first time in their history and will be held on the first night of WA Mining.

The Prospect Awards have been celebrating and rewarding innovation across the country’s resources sector for more than a decade and are the only national awards program to examine the mining industry and reward those who are excelling and going above and beyond.

This year’s event is set to be the best one yet and I would like to extend my thanks to the exhibitors, sponsors, partners and trade visitors whose support enables WA Mining to come back bigger and better, year after year.

Please do not hesitate to contact myself or any member of the organising team if there is anything we can do to assist you. I wish you an insightful and fruitful experience at WA Mining 2024.
