On behalf of all the consignors I wish to welcome you to Moose Jaw and to the Grant Hall to enjoy the comradery as well as the great cattle! The year has been trying at times with areas suffering from terrible drought. We have seen wild fires that were much too close to us or our friends and neighbors as well as some who struggled through wet and mud to get the crop in. On the Prairies will you find such a variety in a small geographic area, and that is what makes this event so special as we all come together. The sale offering this year is comprised of some fancy heifer calves as well as some powerful bred heifers. Also, a couple picks from two of the most progressive Gelbvieh programs in the country. We truly have something for everyone. The cattle market is strong this fall and our commercial clients are benefiting from the extra pounds that the Gelbvieh influence has provided them. I believe we will see strong bull sales in the upcoming months and this is your opportunity to add some fresh genetics to your herd!
