A History of Excellence

The Princess Anne Country Club was founded in 1916 by a group of Norfolk business leaders looking for a place to recreate in what was then a coastal backwater. It grew to become one of the finest retreats in the Commonwealth and a genial oasis for its members, many of whom have made it the center of their social and recreational lives.

The club boasts a first-rate golf course that winds through stands of stately pines and live oaks and along narrow waterways. It also features an extensive tennis facility with indoor and outdoor courts; a full-service fitness and wellness center; a fully-appointed clubhouse that includes spacious locker rooms, cozy bars, spaces for school-aged members and a restaurant as good as any “at the Beach”; and a modern aquatics complex.

Just as important is the ethos that exists at the Princess Anne, and the stylish yet understated feel of the Club is remarkably similar to the one that its founders strove to establish there more than 100 years ago, thanks in no small part to the presence of third and fourth generation members.

But as the club has honored its past, it has also continued to thrive in the present. The community in which it is located and the determined men and women who nurtured it so lovingly through the years have ensured that it would become the prosperous place it is today — more than a century old, and better than ever before.

THE HOLLY BEACH BUNGALOW

Situated just north of the PACC clubhouse at 3901 Holly Road, the Holly Beach Bungalow is the perfect retreat for a visit to the beach. Members and their guests may enjoy year-round overnight accommodations in this classic 1940’s bungalow.

-Bedroom Two l Two twin beds (conversion to one king)

PACC IN THE COMMUNITY

The Spirit of Service

As residents of Virginia Beach and greater Hampton Roads, our team and members place great importance on giving back to the community in which we live, work and play. Each year, we serve as host to three major charitable events, one golf and two tennis. These events provide crucial funds to: Children’s Hospital of the The King’s Daughters (CHKD); Els for Autism Foundation; Families of Autistic Children in Tidewater (FACT); Virginia Autism Foundation; SEALKids and An Achievable Dream.

The Princess Anne Family supports the children of Hampton Roads during the holiday season by collecting donations for the Virginia Beach Noblemen’s holiday toy drive.

Not to be forgotten, our four-legged neighbors are supported through our Thanksgiving pet food drive to benefit the Virginia Beach SPCA.

Additionally, our team supports the Special Olympics of Virginia each year through their annual Polar Plunge and we also host Red Cross blood drives.

To date, over a million dollars has been raised by the Princess Anne family in support of these causes.

MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS

Membership Basics Application Process

The Princess Anne is a 501 (c)(7) not for profit, private country club. Initiation fees are nonrefundable.

Various membership types have been established to best meet the needs of our families.

Each membership provides access to its associated amenities. Green and court fees still apply. Supplements may be added to tailor your membership to your needs and eliminate green, practice range and court fees.

There are no required monthly food and beverage minimums associated with any of our memberships.

Special membership programs are available for legacies and military.

Please note | All active duty and retired military will be given 10% off of their initiation fee and have the deferred payment option of $5,000 down & balance financed at 8% over 10 years.

Applications for membership are voted upon

by the Princess Anne Board of Directors at their monthly meeting (generally the last Thursday of each month).

Resident Membership FULL

Enjoy access to all club amenities to include dining venues, golf, tennis, pool and fitness center. Initiation Fee: $40,000

Monthly Dues & Capital Fees: $659

To be placed on the membership ballot, completed applications must be received by the Membership Director by the first Friday of the month.

Each membership application requires sponsorship by one current member and endorsement by two current members.

An application is considered complete when the Membership Director has received the following:

• Completed application form

• Photograph of applicant (and family if applies)

• Completed primary sponsor form

• Letter of support from two endorsers

Prior to voting upon by the Board of Directors, each application is thoroughly vetted by a Membership Committee. Additionally, names of applicants are posted in the Clubhouse and on the Club website for a period of three weeks prior to the Board meeting.
