Art as Inspiration

This summer, let your child’s creativity be inspired with opportunities for fun and exploration centered around this year’s theme, “Art as Inspiration.” Each week, will focus on a famous artist and use his or her work as inspiration for the lessons and activities. Your child is sure to enjoy the scene with exciting activities that include art, music, science, cooking, nature as well as guest visits. Fitness activities, outdoor games, splash-fest days and group sports are all part of the experience. Sessions are led by Princeton Montessori School’s Early Childhood teachers who are American Montessori Society (AMS) certified. Full-day students participate in swimming lessons once a week at Princeton Fitness & Wellness Center. Allow your child’s creativity to be inspired this year with a summer they will remember forever!

My Natural World Exploring the wonders in our own backyard What better way to spend the beautiful fun-filled days of summer than exploring the wonders in our own backyard? Over the summer weeks, children in My Natural World summer camp will explore the beautiful grounds of our school and surrounding Princeton area with hands-on daily activities. Research shows that spending time in nature activates the senses and creates a sense of wonder in children. Children also develop a nature literacy while enjoying a fascination and motivation to learn. It’s no wonder that children who spend more time outside are much happier and more attentive! Ample time outdoors will be combined with daily activities in our beautiful air-conditioned facility. In the morning, children will enjoy outdoor activities such as exploring the flora and fauna of the Princeton area, farming, gardening, or simply having fun with friends. The afternoons will be enhanced with art projects, Tae Kwon Do lessons, sports, swimming, and exciting guest visits. My Natural World is a summer experience your child will not want to miss!
