In February 2015 the Visualizing Finance Lab partnered with Neighborhood Trust Financial Partners, a New York City-based financial counseling services NGO, to create a comic narrative based on “Emma’s Story” using narrative visualization methods. Emma’s Story is a character and narrative developed for use in Neighborhood Trust Financial Partners’ “Getting Ahead” workshop; a financial literacy program aimed toward low-income New Yorkers. This narrative was co-developed with Global Learning Partners, Inc. (GLP).
