AIR POLLUTION Today we are going to talk about air pollution.
Air pollution is the atmosphere pollution and the emission of greenhouse gases, like carbon dioxide. They come from vehicles, factories, and homes. They come from and burned fossil fuels like oil and petrol too. These things are the cause of global warming. Nowadays there is a build up of the temperature which produces a melt of the ice caps. Last week in Paris very important people of 195 countries met to talk about the global warming. They decided to set some measures so the Earth temperature doesn't increase two degrees centigrade in this century. In Madrid they reduce the speed in highways to 70km/h because there is a lot of pollution in the air. So you can use public transport, ride your bike and don't burn fossil fuels to help to reduce air pollution.

GLOBAL WARMING
Today we are going to talk about global warming because nowadays is increasing. Countries like China or Vietnam give off a lot of pollutants. In these countries the sky turns grey. Greenhouse gases contribute to global warming. One of these is carbon dioxide, a common part of the exhaust gases from cars, trucks, and so on. The scientists say that in the future the North and South poles will melt, and they will cause enormous floods. A lot of animals will die, like polar bears and penguins. There are a lot of things we can do to help stop the global warming. Here you have some ideas: Drive a car only when it's necessary, because they give off a lot of pollutants. We should ride a bike or walk short distances, because the car gases contribute enormously to air pollution. Use the chimney only when it's cold. Decrease the smoke of factories. Use less heating in our house.
We think people should worry about global warming because it's destroying the Earth. THIS IS OUR HOME IN THE UNIVERSE.

THE PLASTIC: A KILLER
Plastic is the death for many animals, because they mistake it for their food. They think that the plastic we throw in the sea is food, so they eat it and die. Sea animals and birds are in danger. There are millions of plastic things in the sea and around the world. About 1,000000 sea birds and 100000 other sea animals die every year because of the plastic pollution. We can save many animals and birds by recycling. We mustn't throw plastic or other things in the sea.

THE GREENHOUSE EFFECT Today we are going to talk about the greenhouse effect.
The greenhouse effect is a very important environmental problem. The cause of this problem is the air pollution. The greenhouse effect consists of the excess of bad gases in the ozone layer what produces its destruction. The consequence of this problem is the ultraviolet rays come in to the Earth, the temperature rises and the Earth gets warmer. It makes the poles melt and rise the level of the water. They also produce the climate change and it can make floods and droughts.
We can avoid this problem by using the public transport. We can also reduce the consumption of fossil fuels and recycle some materials. Nowadays the greenhouse effect is a serious problem and we need to make it disappear.

WATER POLLUTION Today we are going to talk about...
What are the reasons of the water pollution? The first one is to throw plastic, cans and rubbish to the rivers and to the sea because the fish think they are food and they eat them and die. Another problem is the oil pollution in the water. Some people throw car oil into the drain and the animals die. Factories also produce a lot of dirty water. This poisoned water goes near the river and pollutes the river water.
Finally the oil spilled from ships and oil tanksers at sea can cause terrible harm to wildlife. We can help the nature doing some things like: We should use the bike. We shouldn't use the car so much. We must recycle. We mustn't waste the water.

RECYCLING
We are going to talk about recycling and how to separate rubbish in different bins. There are four bins. I will start with the blue bin. The blue bin is used for paper and carton, so you must rcycle all your magazines and notebooks here. The yellow bin is used for plastic and metal, so you must recycle all your plastic bags and metal boxes in here. The brown bin is used for clothes, so you must recycle all your cotton t-shirts and wool gloves in here. The green bin is used for glass, so you must recycle your glass bottles and glass jars in here.

DEFORESTATION We are going to talk about deforestation. When we cut a lot of trees for farming, it is very dangerous because we are destroying our forests causing deforestation.
Deforestation is a big problem for the Earth because we kill animals when we destroy their habitat. Deforestation contributes to the global warming because the trees clean the air. It also contributes to the droughts and rich lands become deserts and the climate changes. People are logging trees every day. People throw rubbish in the forests and make fires. People cut trees to create factories and new towns. We can changes things and do something. We can replant the forests to save the Earth.
