James Rose

Gallagher has appointed James Rose to the position of Technical Account Manager for the North of England and Scotland, working alongside Technical Business Development Manager, Steve Natton.

Based in Newcastle upon Tyne, James has more than 15 years of security industry experience, with roles in technical support, training, sales, and account management.

Nigel Austin

Qognify has announced the appointment of Nigel Austin to the role of UK and Ireland Channel Sales Manager. Based in the UK, Nigel has the remit to support Qognify’s customers and partners and drive sales and growth for its video management solutions in the region.

Nigel brings more than 30 years of experience in the electronic security sector. During his career he has managed operational and sales teams in both the public and private sectors. He joins Qognify from Chubb Fire & Security UK where he was Business Development Manager – National Accounts. Prior to that he held senior sales, management and business development positions at Honeywell, Norbain, Dahua Technology and Samsung (now Hanwha Techwin). Gareth Williams

Oprema has announced the appointment of Gareth Williams as Managing Director effective from 1st January 2022.

Gareth has been working side-by-side with Matthew Epps, Oprema’s current Managing Director, to allow a smooth transition of the business and continuity of leadership. Gareth brings with him over 20 years industry experience, with six of those as Sales Director at Oprema.

Matthew Stanley & Sarah Steer

Astra Security has announced changes to its management team structure following a couple of important internal promotions. Firstly, Matthew Stanley has secured the role of Director of Operations. This will see him focus on the continual development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that business objectives are met. Matthew has been with the company for five years, and his previous role as Senior Account Manager has been instrumental in securing and maintaining its client base. His excellent relationship management skills have been pivotal in securing his new role.

The other management structure change is that Sarah Steer has secured the position of Finance, People & Compliance Director. This role will see Sarah deliver and manage the disclosure and accountability for all financial activities within the business and instil best practice and staff policy development for all areas of HR.

Mark Gibson

Cloudview has appointed Mark Gibson to be its new Head of Sales.

Mark has extensive experience in international sales and business development and has been consulting with technology companies since 2004. He has helped to develop many startups in California, EMEA and the Nordics specialising in AI applications for anti-money laundering and cybersecurity, and has spent time running his own sales and marketing consultancy focusing on the B2B technology sector.
