IL BORGO Borgo in Chianni is a little hamlet located in the center of the Era Valley, a country area with hills planted with vineyards and olive trees, on which hills there are Romanesque churches and old farms, as in Peccioli medieval village, castles and stately villas, such as the Abbey of Morrona and Crespina. The area is the heart of the most authentic Tuscan and this is invaluable, both from the economic point of view and quality of life. The village is situated on a hilltop ridge, just 5 minutes walk from the small old town centre of Chianni, and near major towns such as Volterra, Pisa, Leghorn, Florence, Siena and San Gimignano.
THE APARTMENTS This compound called “Borgo in Chianni” covers a total area of about 2,422 square meters organized into 12 apartments and cottages, all with independent access, some with terrace, some with private veranda or garden. The apartments share a common area with large lawn with paved walkways, derived from the recovery of old railway sleepers, an outdoor swimming pool with gazebo, and private parking. The Tuscan style architectural design preserved the spirit of the old country farmhouses using high quality materials combined with re-used objects, such as wooden beamed ceilings and terracotta bricks of recovery.
