NetFlow data is produced by the network devices i.e. routers, switches, firewall etc. the data has the details of port numbers, protocols, source and destination IP addresses and much more. Cisco patents the term ‘NetFlow’, other vendors says it ‘Flow’. NetFlow completely estimates data and exercise a test with flow management, monitoring and analysis of apps. Flow simulation: Flow simulation of NetFlow devices has been done in several steps. Starts from configuration in which representation of network function is analysed. Then correlation of ports has been checked i.e. arriving traffic at designated port from the destination IP address. Network traffic also has been analysed by bandwidth stimulation. Stimulation has been record in the flow record log. If the flow changes, it changes the values of estimated in the record.
