DOCK STAGE – A MODERN SOLUTION FOR ROOFING REQUIREMENTS
In the ever-changing landscape of the entertainment industry even larger structures, like outdoor stages, are influenced by trends. The traditional, saddle-type roof dominates the traditional mid-size market, but Prolyte frequently receives requests for a “different look”. The Dock Stage concept ties in with these modern requirements – offering both a fresh look and all the qualities you might expect from a Prolyte roof system. The sleek shark fin appearance of the stage - enhanced by the side canopies – will make it an eye-catching feature at any event or festival. Dock Stage – Simply clever The Dock Stage is based on a goal post structure; using standard MPT towers in combination with H30V arched trusses. The rotating front span of special S52SV truss not only provides the required strength but the rotating shaft also enables simple and fast build-up. A front cantilever protects the performing act from weather influences. As you may expect from a Prolyte structure – standard products are used in clever combination with a few special pieces, offering both a cost effective and creative solution. PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS:

Set-up system To facilitate the build of the Dock Stage on uneven on unstable subsoil, like sand, Prolyte has added a set-up system for this stage type. The arched trusses are equipped with wheels, which are guided by an aluminium profile. During the lifting procedure the wheels will roll effortlessly within these profiles – facilitating the lifting and positioning of the system. The aluminium profiles can be adjusted in height - in order to be able to level out any uneven surface. Once the definite position is reached, the arches are locked into place.

Dock Stage – Build it at ground level The Dock Stage is designed to allow ground level build-up - facilitating fast and safe assembly. The rotating front span of special S52SV truss follows the curved design when lifted to trim height. At the required trim height the front span is locked into position and secured with four bolts. The arches are connected at the back of the perimeter truss frame to make the structure stable and strong. The perimeter truss frame can be exchanged for adapters, if you wish to integrate the Dock Stage roof with a staging system. All arches are fitted with keder profiles – allowing easy removal of the back and side canopies when wind speeds demand these measures. The top parts can stay in place.
