July 2018

When you’re trying to eat healthy and get in shape for summer and you get that dreaded summer BBQ invite; what do you do???? Here are some tips: Instead of butter and salt on corn on the cob—try lime juice Instead of a burger, choose the grilled chicken Bring a healthy dish– swap out mayo (pasta/potato salads) for nonfat Greek yogurt and add a little apple cider vinegar for the right flavor. Also add more vegetables than the pasta/potatoes Forego the sweet tea and choose unsweet tea and add stevia or lemon/lime Increase activity; get involved in a game of frisbee, water balloons or baseball
