Summer Days What is there more memorable then the first time you go on a holiday with your girl. France Port St- Marie, a lovely place with a lot of inspiring things to see. The Borcante shops with all of the old junk that looks like crap to everyday people but is a feast to the eye when it comes to photography. We visited Agen and some local shops and places. The thing that I like when visiting west European countries is the feel when you walk in the villages and cities.

A feeling of rest and a certain calm. People seem to be more relaxed over there than in cities like The Hague or Amsterdam. The most inspiring thing of all was the place where we stayed. A patch of ground with about four houses on it, owned by her family. These houses and one in particular where still almost in the same shape as they were probably eighty years ago. This plus the surrounding area made for some pretty nice photos.

Mopeds My mopeds have played such a great roll in my life. Because of my Puch mopeds I’ve got to meet new people learn a lot of stuff about mechanics and can seriously say that I’ve made friends because of it. And not just people that are fun to talk to or fun to hang around with but people that you can build on, people that will be there when you need them. People that give you feedback about the mechanical side of life, but help you with personal stuff. I own two Puch Maxi’s at this moment. One is a product of the Steyer-Daimler factory and the other one is a Puch produced by Piaggio after they took over. Every Puch I know has his own twist and feel to it. Not one Puch is 100% the same and that’s what keeps me from every getting tired of seeing them and driving them.

The Sziget festival in Hungary was an awesome experience. First time I travelled by train this far and this train had a club on board! Saw a lot of nice stuff on the way to Hungary and I saw a lot of awesome things when I was at the festival. See for yourself.

Photography The part were this whole book is about. Photography. I started photographing little over a year ago when I found an old Agfa Isolette I on the attic of my grandparents. Not knowing anything about setting up the shutterspeed, Focus and all of that I started my first film, a fuji 100 ISO. Most of the pictures came out so bad, messed up focus or messed up lighting and what not. Instead of letting it pass I wanted to learn more and bought a BW film, this was Kodak Tri-X or the Ilford 125/400 film don’t really know anymore. Since then I kinda kept doing black and white films. I even started to develop my own films to cut the cost and to add something extra to the hobby. I now own the Agfa, a Praktica TL1000 a Polaroid 1000 Landcamera and a Minolta Vetis S1 and some other camera’s. I also use the Nikon D3000 that my parents bought last spring and a Fuji Finepix Z compact cam.
