At Iowa State University, we don’t just encourage teamwork; it is a vital component of our program. We take teaming seriously by designing learning teams at the beginning of our program. The teams work together throughout the core curriculum, learning from each other and building efficiency. Teams are put to the test at the end of the core curriculum in the capstone of the program, the Iowa State University MBA Case Competition.

“Getting an MBA was the most logical step towards changing my career; however, Iowa State University has given me lot more than a warm welcome and a quality education. I was presented with many opportunities; Case Competitions, the MBA Association, and Graduate Assistantships helped me discover new heights of my own capabilities. I know the self confidence, skills, and quality education I gained at ISU will take me far beyond the walls of Gerdin.”

“We at Iowa State believe that business is a vehicle for improving society and the quality of life. Companies are judged not only by how much profit they make and the quality of their goods and services, but also on how they treat their employees, how they contribute to their communities, how they impact the environment, and a variety of other non-financial expectations held by society. Business leaders, thus, need to have a deep understanding of how to integrate social responsibility and sustainability into their corporate strategy and decision-making.

–Dr. Michael Crum Ruan Chair in Supply Chain Management Professor of Supply Chain Management

FAST FACTS: Iowa State University’s MBA program has attracted students from over 60 countries.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY The values of corporate social responsibility and sustainability are interwoven throughout the core curriculum of the Iowa State MBA. As an aspiring business leader, there are leadership opportunities in your future. But with those opportunities comes responsibility. It is our goal to prepare you to understand long-term corporate strategy and the impact of your decisions on global society. When you graduate with an MBA from Iowa State University, you will have not only a firm understanding of corporate social responsibility and sustainability, but the confidence to make decisions based on those values.
