Honors & Dual Credit Opportunities
30 Honors Courses Offered
Prosper ISD Honors Courses were formerly referred to as Pre-AP. With no designated curriculum by the College Board for these courses, districts were asked to change the name. These courses retain the same weight as the former Pre-AP courses and include all core subjects as well as World Languages.

Students in Prosper ISD have a wealth of options to choose from when it comes to Dual Credit. Prosper ISD partners with Collin College to offer courses that fall within the Texas General Education Core Curriculum, as well as courses specific to Career and Technical Education Programs.
Advanced Placement Opportunities
30 AP Courses Offered
Students may earn college credit by taking Advanced Placement (AP) courses and subsequently taking and passing AP exams. Please see the campus course guide (www.prosper-isd.net/ courseguides2022-2023) for a listing of AP courses that are offered.
AP Recognitions
Only 250 school districts in the U.S. and Canada and only 17 school districts in the State of Texas were named to the College Board AP DistrictHonor Roll. Prosper ISD is 1 of 2 Collin CountySchool Districts acknowledged.
