up, I’m all about finding solutions and making things work. I’m here to adapt to what they need, and I want clients to feel comfortable and heard throughout our time together.”
When he isn’t hustling at work, Phil enjoys making time for a few hobbies and community initiatives. In addition to serving with the Knights of Columbus at his church as a Eucharistic minister who delivers communion to individuals unable to attend church due to being homebound, Phil also fills his free time unwinding with a few active pursuits. “[Outside of work] you’ll find me in Warzone with my NJ Dunnies crew. I’m [also] into pickleball during the summer. I used to do mixed martial arts [and am] thinking about getting back into it this summer. And when Alyssa and I plan a trip, Key West is our go-to. It’s all about striking a balance between work, relaxation, and varied interests.”

Time spent with his people is also a highlight of Phil’s personal life, and he feels fortunate to have a family that shares close ties. “The Maisano and Mazzio family roots trace back to a close-knit South Philly Italian clan that made the move to South Jersey years ago. We’re pretty consistent with our family dinners, religiously gathering every Wednesday and Monday. We’ve got a tradition of planning trips to various spots like the Poconos, di erent countries, the shore, or just enjoying summer BBQs. Despite being polar opposites, my brother Anthony and I share a tight bond, working side by side to sell large deals and build up a small portfolio for the family. It’s all

Though he has only been at the real estate game for a short time, Phil has had many memorable career moments that have been meaningful to his evolution as an agent. One of his favorites came in the form of his first sale over $1 million at the Rittenhouse building. “A high net worth CEO, who was recommended to me, was thoroughly impressed with my market knowledge, connections, and negotiation skills. The financial outcome of this transaction exceeded a year’s salary from my previous jobs in just one deal. This achievement not only showcased my professional growth but also instilled confidence in me that I could provide for my family by further developing my skills in the real estate industry,” he recalls.

In closing, Phil leaves us with this parting thought. “I want to emphasize that the journey in this industry can be demanding, pushing you to your limits, but it’s an invaluable opportunity for personal growth and gives you a chance to set you and your family up for life if you do it right. The challenges may seem overwhelming at times, but they build resilience and strength, akin to developing calluses on your brain. Embrace the di culties as a chance to test and strengthen yourself. If anyone ever finds themselves in need of support, guidance, advice, or simply a listening ear, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. Remember, everyone wants to be a beast until it’s time to do what beasts do.”

Claudia McGill: I studied formal art in school. My career started out in graphic design, and then my husband and I became investors in a residential historic reuse project in 2003. Seeing the process and how my design skills could translate into designing homes, I decided in 2009 to formally get licensed and work full time in real estate sales. Since then, I have rehabbed several further properties personally and assisted my seller clients in maximizing the value of their home by adding improvements and working through that entire process prior to listing their house. This includes advising improvements, coordinating bids and contractors, access for the contractors, and staging either with their existing furniture or bringing in a professional stager. I draw on these experiences as well to give guidance my buyer clients.

CM: I am so fortunate to have an amazing marketing team, conveyancer, and managers at Compass that help the process run smoothly for the transaction. Also, through my 15 years in real estate, I have a vast network of contacts, including other real estate professionals, contractors, lenders, and potential buyers or sellers, that can be valuable resources and solutions for clients.

We love learning about new cultures through their food. For the New Year, we have a family cookbook resolution where we are trying to cook a new recipe every week.

CM: This week, I was checking in with buyers of a property in Washington West who were empty nesters from the suburbs from a few years back, and she said, ‘We have developed a beautiful community of neighbors and friends… deeper and broader than anywhere else I lived.” I love seeing the communities built and found by city living and how it enriches people’s lives being connected.
