Present trend • Globally, out of 6.7 bn population 1.7 bn use net (25.6% penetration) • In Asia, out of 3.8 bn population 0.7 bn use net (19.4 % penetration) • North America and Europe penetration at 74% and 53% respectivley.



Present trend - Asia • Hongkong, Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan have more than 65% penetration • India 7.0 %. (around 8 crore users) • Growth rate over 2000 - 1500%



India and China • China penetration 25.3% and India 7% • Broadband India 5.2 M and China 33 M • China information are not authentic
