“WOLVES WIN! STATE CHAMPS!”

Seniors You Should Know Alli Jepsen, Salutatorian

Annie Qiu, Valedictorian

by Neha Konjeti

by Sanjana Nath

Annie “Snezzies” Qiu known for her life-saving quizlets, friendly smile, and humble nature, didn’t plan to be valedictorian.

When Alli Jepsen was young, she dreamed of becoming a fashion designer. Now, as the nextto-last salutatorian, she wants to pursue a career in the medical field. In the four years at PR, she has excelled in academics and enjoyed doing it. “I take pride not only in the fact that I was able to maintain my momentum as a student, but also that I had a blast and made lifelong friends along the way.”

“I didn’t really realize class rank existed until people talked about it freshman year,” said Annie. “I just wanted to do well in my classes and challenge myself at the same time.” And she certainly has. Being a part of Varsity Tennis, Math Team, WYSE, NHS, SNHS, Scholastic Bowl, and maintaining her impressive academic standing is nothing short of amazing. It’s no surprise that with the long list of activities, Annie has a long list of accomplishments. During her four years on math team, Annie went to state four times! Similarly in her sophomore to senior years, Annie went to state for WYSE. She earned 1st place in Chemistry not once, but twice! “It’s always an exciting experience to make it so far, but it’s even better when the whole team goes!” Her secret of success? “I don’t know if I figured out a secret to success, but sleeping early is pretty important.” On top of the importance of getting lots of sleep, Annie advises students to “enjoy your time in high school, and don’t stress yourself out too much.” She recommends to “use the school’s resources as long as they’re there, know that you have others to count on, but also learn to solve problems independently.” Next year, Annie plans to attend University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to join its highly-ranked computer science program. “Although college is going to be a lot more difficult than high school, I’m excited to explore more and to take unique classes related to my major.”

When asked about what would she miss the most about high school, it was the meaningful relationships with her teachers and how they have been her role models and biggest supporters. She strongly believes that “the teachers at Prairie Ridge dedicate themselves to their students’ success, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without their help.” From freshman year, she has seen her peers grow and is amazed by the amount of talent and personality they have. She has always aimed to reach her full potential as a student, but she didn’t expect to receive this honor. “I’m humbled by all of the brilliant students around me who also deserved this title.” Alli has been a part of NHS, SNHS, and also Varsity Poms. Anyone would be surprised by how she managed to do it all, especially because of the competitive pressure there was to maintain a high GPA. Though she is honored by the distinction, Alli believes that elimination of the school rank will bring relief to the student body. “All students should be recognized as much more than a number out of 335,” she explained. In the fall, Alli will attend Miami of Ohio as part of the honors program and the Premedical Scholars program. “I’m going to strive to stand out academically, immerse myself in activities on campus, and spend my free time enjoying downtown Oxford!”

PR Reacts to Cubs World Series Win

November 7, 2016 When Dexter Fowler got a home run on the very first hit, I knew it was gonna be a good game from there. [This means] EVERYTHING because it ends an era of bad luck with Billy the Goat - Amanda Heimos, freshman David Ross’s home run was my favorite moment. David Ross is one year older than me and the fact that they call him grandpa makes me feel old. It’s really neat that he was able to do that on such a big stage. I have been a lifelong Cubs fan and I was there for two games in ‘03. It’s very exciting. – Mr. Seiler, teacher

Special Effects Artist Jason Lopes Visits PR by Megan Anderson - February 4, 2017

On Friday, January 20, Mr. Lopes talked about projects like designing Tony Stark’s suit from Iron Man at the beginning of his career to a Pistachios super bowl commercial his company did with Stephen Colbert. Senior Tyler Harth said, “the presentation was very insightful and informative on the process of how these elaborate robots, armor suits, and props in films and commercials are created.” Bringing in a professional that uses technologies like CAD (Computer Aided Design) and 3D printers some students are learning in engineering classroom helped to connect the importance and relevance of learning new technologies to students involved in STEM here at school. Senior Kaja Kropidlowska said that attending Mr. Lopes’ presentation “was the most inspiring and useful time leading to my possible future career as an engineer.” Students were awed and inspired seeing the different places a degree in engineering or CAD could take them, which ultimately was the goal of the presentation. “We could learn that behind the biggest success stands great passion and hard work.”

Alternative Facts: The Perils of Fake News

by Jack Lotito - February 21, 2017 Presently, we are just weeks into the Presidency of Donald Trump. While many young people are out demonstrating, journalists from the high peaks of prestigious publications like The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal to local papers to independent news sites and even school newspapers, are in the midst of a battle, a battle for journalistic integrity against the phenomenon of “fake news.” Whether motivated by money or agenda, fake news has become a constant term thrown around by people of all political beliefs (see President Trump’s recent tweet and John McCain’s response). Whether liberal or conservative, each side is blaming each other for misinformation. It has become a major problem during the 2016 election cycle, when real decisions by people were influenced by information that was not real. Directly after the Presidential election, thousands of protesters took to the streets in frustration. A man from Austin, TX named Eric Tucker, who had “about 40” followers on Twitter at the time, tweeted an image purporting that anti-Trump protesters had been “bussed in” and were fake. The news spread like wildfire, being retweeted more than 16,000 times while it was up. Turns out, the buses were there for a conference. Misinformation affects everyone, and every student must be wary of fake stories, especially when for example, picking sources for an English paper. Need some reassurance on this? Look no further than our principal, Dr. Koch, who spoke recently with AP Language & Comp students: “When you look at a source, [ask yourself] what are they saying? Is this fake news? Is this someone’s opinion? It is a critical skill to be able to answer these questions. Anyone can write anything, and make it look legit. It’s quite dangerous,” he said. Follow Dr. Koch’s advice when reading or viewing news. First, look at the publication. Is it credible? For example, one source cited above for publishing fake news, The Daily Mail, has recently been banned from use as a credible source on Wikipedia. If the source isn’t credible, you can’t totally trust the information. If the information seems too good to be true, then it probably is. Whenever you read news, you’re just going to have to take it with a grain of salt. Wolf Prints May 2017 | 3

News & Opinion Filip Pajak Leads Veganism Lyceum

by Isabell Dobrzycki - February 25, 2017 Lyceum at PR found its roots in curious students that wanted the freedom to debate issues with others. It was started by Julia Kappil and Payton Gentges, who wanted students to “have a voice in issues” that impact our world. During Lyceum, students gather to listen and discuss a variety of student-generated topics, such as the first executive order on immigration and AP-heavy course loads. Upcoming topics include President Trump’s treatment by the media and Planned Parenthood. To the 50+ students who attended February 24, Filip Pajak led a Lyceum during which he explained veganism and why he believes that a vegan diet is best for all. As Filip went through his presentation, he explained to the audience that eating vegan is not as difficult as many think, and that there is a whole variety of foods to choose from, including veggie options of products that are normally made from animals. Editor’s Note: Students who wish to offer ideas for future Lyceum topics may contact Mr. Pellikan, International Studies Division Leader (jpellikan@ d155.org).

A 24-Hour School Day

satire by Emma Jewell - November 22, 2016 ... A twenty-four hour school day is not an unwise choice for those students who constantly face the College Board over their shoulders, whispering in their ears to fill their schedule with classes. Without AP Biology, AP Physics, AP Chemistry, and AP Environmental Science how can one even consider becoming a scientist? The classes students take in high school determine the rest of their life, so it is only necessary that twenty four hours of schooling are provided to take the necessary amount of courses ...

Elective Choices or Chains? Collin Preves - March 21, 2017

My main interests are art and music, so naturally I chose choir, visual art inventions, and culinary arts as some of my electives. I also felt that world language was very important, so I decided to take Spanish for all of my four years.

Keep Calm-o-Matic

While that seems like a solid plan, a major problem was social studies.

AP testing is right around the corner, which means, according to Student Services Coordinator Mrs. Schwartz, 422 students will be cramming for 912 AP exams ...

Practice, practice, practice Catch Some ZZZs Be Confident in Yourself 4 | Prairie Ridge High School

Social studies classes are required to be taken for 3 years in order to get into college, and because I didn’t take it this year, I will be stuck with it for the rest of my PR career. I’m not saying that these classes are bad, but just that it limited me from continuing and advancing in my art and musical education and some sacrifices have to be made (just ask the girls who are in my bass choir). With all of the different options to choose from, there’s very little to work with when all the factors come into play. Students hardly have any freedom at all. It’s a real shame that this freedom to choose isn’t quite as good as it seems.

Opinion Trump vs. Clinton: Debating the Merits of the Candidates Jack Bartucci & Neha Konjeti - October 25, 2016

An American Parliament? A Possible Solution to Bad Candidates Jack Lotito - November 1, 2016

The Prairie Ridge news team meetings this fall have been dominated by conversation about the presidential election, and specifically, the candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. It seems there is always a breaking story or tweet that gets people talking. Who is the best candidate this fall? Staff writers Neha Konjeti and Jack Bartucci debate the merits of the candidates: Neha: Hillary has a great tax plan for our country. Clinton will cut taxes for small businesses so they can hire and grow. She plans on raising taxes for those who earn more than $250,000 per year. She calls this the Buffett rule. This rule insures that the wealthiest families do not pay less than hardworking middle-class families in America. Meanwhile, Trump’s plan benefits himself and rich corporations.

Divided government. When Congress is controlled by one party and the presidency by another, how much can actually get done without compromise? Very little. The parliament helps fix that problem.

Jack: Trump’s website tells us he plans on lowering taxes “across-theboard, especially for working and middle-income Americans who will receive a massive tax reduction.” He also plans on having the rich pay a “fair share” tax, but not too much where it may have a bad effect on jobs. Trump also plans on closing special interest loopholes and plans on lowering taxes for businesses so they can be competitive. Why do you think it is good for the rich to pay more in taxes?

Congressional districts would still exist, and voters would elect someone who represents their district. Across the country, whichever party has the most representatives gets to control the government. In effect, the ruling party gets to govern with impeccable efficiency. Anything it wants to do, which the citizens have blessed with their votes, gets done. It’s obviously a lot more complicated than that, but at its core it’s more efficient than our current system.

Neha: Trump thinks he has an advantage because he’s a businessman, when really Hillary has more experience in political office. And how can Trump be presidential if he has such a bad temperament?

Some say a parliamentary system would be too powerful. And to that I say, “Really?” As opposed to our current system? We’ve been in a good old game of gridlock for some time, and the proverbial broken window isn’t being fixed. Do we have a lot to lose? We’re only in control of one of the most powerful nations on the face of this Earth. But, we’re not going to keep that moniker if we can’t make progress.

Jack: Over thirty years, Clinton has made some bad choices. I guess experience isn’t always something that one-ups. Trump is like former president Zachary Taylor who had no experience before he ran our country. Neha: I think you’re forgetting that Trump has made some bad choices as well, like avoiding federal taxes. When it comes to personality and temperament, he has said many rude comments about women, Mexicans, and many others. Jack: Emails and Benghazi. Trump has never held office, so you can’t say he has made political mistakes. But then when I mention Clinton’s political mistakes, you bring up Trump’s personal mistakes. A completely different topic. Neha: Do you actually think Trump has the right personality to be president? Jack: Trump wants to protect our borders, defeat terrorism, lower taxes (to promote job growth), and ensure that our constitution is protected, respected, and upheld. So overall, he has the right ideas which will help guide him through his presidency.

We Make America

by Mikey Speziale - March 21, 2017 The March for Life is an incredible example of what a peaceful and unified protest looks like. This year, the 600,000 pro-life marchers were joined by the Vice President of the United States, Mike Pence. He gave an unforgettable speech coining the phrase, “life is winning,” which has been used as a slogan by the pro-life movement since. In addition, President Trump even tweeted out, “The #MarchForLife is so important. To all of you marching — you have my full support!” to voice his support for the marchers.

In America you truly can make a difference, so find something you’re passionate about and fight for it. Wolf Prints May 2017 | 5

Creator of A Tale of Two Cities, The Musical, Visits Prairie Ridge

by Carolyn Sveden - April 4, 2017 The students involved in Prairie Ridge’s spring musical, A Tale of Two Cities, received a very special visit from the award-winning composer, lyricist, and author of the musical, Jill Santoriello. Jill came for a surprise visit on the last day of performances to watch the show and speak with the cast and crew before rushing back to her life in New York. The surprised looks on the students’ faces were priceless as Jensen introduced Jill and she walked into the room. Sylvia Hensley, a sophomore in the cast, stated that she was “so surprised and excited [that she] immediately started crying tears of joy and shock.” Sophomore Jared Arkell asked Jill if she had ever gone to the Tony Awards. She responded with “No, can you take me?” which received many laughs. AJ Weber, a junior who played Dr. Alexander Manette, expressed that “Jill had some wonderful insight into how we portrayed her production. I also thought it was really cool that she flew out here on a whim to see a random high school perform her show.” Tim Blakewell, the pit band director, showed his appreciation for the experience in saying “I thought it was great that she was able to relate to the students so well and that she was willing to give so much time to meeting the students and talking to them.” Jensen explains that Jill “said that the joy of watching performances of her show is discovered in that the story is only alive when it is being performed. This transparency made her both approachable and allowed all of us who love breathing life into stories to connect with the author and enjoy the process just a little bit more.” 6 | Prairie Ridge High School

Tips for Auditions

by Collin Preves - November 15, 2016 For students who have always thought about auditioning but weren’t sure how it works, I interviewed Mr. Jensen. Q: What do students need to do for a PR audition? A: Sign up on the bulletin board outside of the choir room and plan to sing a 30 second segment from a song from any musical of your choice. Complete the online audition form on the Musical Activities webpage. A sample video of the dance is posted on the Musical Activities page so that you can learn the dance prior to the audition date. Q: If a student is going for a certain character, what kind of monologue should he/she use? A: Dramatic monologue, and it may be wise to look for something from the time period and nation of the author of this musical (Charles Dickens.....1800’s England.) Q: What is the best strategy for finding a good music piece to perform during an audition? A: Pick something that you are familiar and comfortable with, memorize it, and make sure that it shows off the most beautiful and powerful area of your voice. We want to hear you at your best. Q: During this year’s musical, was there anything specific you are looking for? A: Our initial auditions give the directors a read on the generalized ability of our students, relative to everyone else who is auditioning. As we watch students sing, act, dance we take notes and then discuss the strengths and weaknesses of each student, and how those might translate to the different characters in the show. Be sure to perform as a character. We know that you can play an American teenager. We want to see you create a new character and tell us a story with you face, hands, and body while you sing and perform your monologue. Q: How does the dance audition work? A: The audition segment is posted online for the students to watch and learn at home. We will review with all students for 20 minutes on Wednesday, and then we will begin watching students perform the dance in groups of 3, until every student has had at least two chances to dance for the judges.

Entertainment Beautiful New Twist on a Tale as Old as Time by Emily Pollock - March 24, 2017

This spring, Beauty and the Beast joined the likes of Disney live-action remakes Maleficent and Cinderella after hitting theaters on Friday, March 17. Beyond the beautiful melodies and intricate design work, the most impressive characteristic of this live-action remake is that it stays strikingly true to the animated film, yet it includes small changes sprinkled throughout the plot that give it a new twist. The script in the new film is nearly identical to the old one, save for a few lines here and there and a handful of scenes that differ from the original. More similarities include the ongoing theme of “don’t judge a book by its cover” and the personas of each character. One difference in the new adaptation is that it explores Belle’s character through a bigger lens than before by showing her deep connection with family and really emphasizing her courage and eccentricity and willingness to accept others. A more obvious modification is the way the remake reveals more knowledge about the Beast’s past and how he became the person he is. This spin on a tale “as old as time” is truly not one to miss, as ratings have flown through the roof ever since its release. Within a single week, it has been named the number one movie in the world and has grossed over $400 million at the box office.

The Naturals -- A Killer YA Read by Katie Thompson - January 20, 2017

What started as harmless behind the scenes work for the group of teens takes a dangerous turn when a serial killer starts to target one of their own. It doesn’t take long for their theoretical training sessions to become all too real, and no amount of protection from their FBI handlers can keep them away from the action. The stakes are higher for Cassie than any of the other Naturals, and she will stop at nothing to catch the person behind the killings.

A La La Lovely Movie

by Emily Pollock - February 15, 2017 Director Damien Chazelle brings to life a harmonious blend of music and romance in his critically-acclaimed and award-winning movie, La La Land, a movie about following your passions and falling in love. The musical drama follows Mia (Emma Stone), a young woman trying to make it as an actress in Hollywood, and Sebastian (Ryan Gosling), a struggling jazz musician waiting for his big break in L.A. After running into each other on several occasions, a magical romance blossoms between the the duo, and an enticing plot of the ups and downs of their lives in “La La Land” unfolds. The realistic storyline portrays the many struggles of Mia and Sebastian with realness and raw emotion that audiences can relate to and appreciate, thanks to the admirable acting of Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, which has won each of them a Golden Globe award. The dynamic duo bring charm and passion to the movie, along with fantastic singing and dancing skills that make the music so lively and entertaining. The accompanying dance numbers and bold wardrobe choices such as Mia’s colorful dresses and Sebastian’s vintage-style suits work harmoniously to add to the playfulness and fusion of retro and modern.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

by Shannon Batliner - November 18, 2016 Set in the 1920s, around 60 years before Harry Potter was born, the growing dangers of dark wizardry in both Europe and America is becoming more evident, with the possibility of war between the Wizarding and No-Maj worlds inching closer to reality. Newt Scamander arrives in New York City with his leather case full of magical creatures he is rescuing and researching.

Things take a turn for the worst when a No-Maj (American English for non-magic folk/muggles), Jacob Kowalski, inadvertently releases some of Newt’s creatures into the city. The movie follows the journey of Newt, aurors, and the Magic government on their quest to restore order to the on-edge city and recapture the creatures before they can cause harm. Seniors You Should Know

Well, I’m most proud of broadening my horizons. Initially, I was only involved in cheer and a couple clubs, but then senior year rolled around, and I realized how many things I wanted to get involved with before my time came to a close! So, I took advantage of odd opportunities (Dramatic Literature, PRAC), and made the most of EVERYTHING! - Elise Reiche I’m most proud of the relationships I have made with people outside of my friend groups. I love saying hi to everyone in the hallway. The most important thing to me is making everybody feel like somebody. I love greeting people by name... even if the last time I talked to them was some time ago. - Hailey Baker

Of all the great wonders of this school, I will miss, most of all, the hollow brick at the end of the PE hallway. Ever since its first discovery freshman year, this simple building block of concrete has reminded me to be different and original, even when the structural integrity of something greater relies on you to conform. - Mike Ostrow

I will miss psteiner and Brockland. I spent so much time with those two teachers over my years at high school. I don’t know how college is going to be without listening to Brockland’s advice or sleeping on the College and Career Center couch - Samantha McHugh

I am most proud of Prairie Ridge Basketball because it changed the way I viewed a lot of things we HAVE to do on a daily basis. I learned a lot about trusting the process and a lot about hard work and group work. - Trevor Potter

Seniors You Should Know I’m going to miss the community. Anyone who knows me, knows that I’m a people person, and extraverted. I love being friends with so many different people and I’m going to miss that the most. - Elizabeth Ponga

I am going to Apostolic Bible Institute next year. I just cannot wait to be a part of that amazing school. - Kayla Meadows

Next year I hope to explore and continue to grow as a concert photographer. - Jennifer Angeles

Next year I hope to continue getting good grades and staying connected with my friends from high school. - Gus Arrellano

The thing I’m most proud of has to be winning a state championship. It was very rewarding to see myself and my teammates make a dream come true that we’ve all had since the first time we picked up a football. - Grant Golata 14 | Prairie Ridge High School

Seniors You Should Know

I am proud of my work as head of spotlight and as president of Prairie Ridge’s gay-straight alliance. As head of spot, I feel I was able to successfully accomplish my job while also having lots of fun with my crew. At GSA, I acted as a leader, an ally, and a friend. All of this I am proud to have done. - Sam Cortina

I hope I am successful in college at Western Michigan University and I make a bunch of new friends and keep earning my ratings towards my flying career! I’m really looking forward to starting fresh at college. - Alex Priester

I’ll miss the community that Prairie Ridge promotes. I can walk through the halls and smile at all of my friends that I see in the hall. In college, there are too many people to know almost everyone there, and having a close knit community is the thing I will probably miss the most about high school. - Megan Riley

When I moved here at the start of my junior year I didn’t want to be at this school at all. Fast forward almost two years later, about to graduate with amazing friends I wouldn’t have found anywhere else. I am proud of myself for getting through the scariest change I’ve ever had to go through. - Brittney Aldape

Next year I am continuing my education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I will major in English and Spanish in hopes of becoming a high school teacher. I am very excited to meet new friends and teachers, but will definitely never forget the individuals that helped me meet my goals for next year. - Megan Diskin Wolf Prints May 2017 | 15

Seniors You Should Know

The one thing that I am the most proud of from my time at PR is that I was able to be involved in many different extracurriculars. From madrigals to a co-president of SNHS, I feel like I put my all into everything I did and that is something that made me who I am today. - Maddie O’Malley

I hope that next year, I find a community as meaningful as the one I discovered here at PR. I never went a day in my high school life feeling like I was alone-I always knew someone had my back. I can only hope that the future holds more of the same, and that I continue to learn and grow as a person. I’ve learned many valuable lessons during my four years, and I am by no means finished: I want more. - Connor Pils

Hopefully I will be remembered as a person who made school bearable. My goal was to make as many people laugh and enjoy class as I could. My only skill coming into high school was comedy, so I really relied on that during all four years. - Nick Des Biens

I want to be remembered as someone who always had wise words. I try to post advice and mantras on my social media, instead of using it negatively. I want to be known as voice for the voiceless, as someone who is always willing to drop everything to help somebody else. - Sarah Jenkins 18 | Prairie Ridge High School

I’m most proud of the growth I’ve experienced as a musician these past four years. I began as an insecure freshman, afraid to let anyone hear me sing, and have grown into a confident performer, excited to pursue opera as a career. Through voice lessons, AP music theory class, choir, and the musicals, I’ve learned how hard work and practice truly impacts the goals you accomplish and those you don’t. - Elizabeth Routzahn

Seniors You Should Know I am most proud of how PR has come together in times of need and happiness. Our school is amazing at helping out others. Having everyone that came down to State for football was amazing to see. It also gave me an experience I’ll never forget. - Joey Pinsky

I’m going to miss all the homies because bros make life that much better. They made the transition back that much easier. - Zach Teegen I hope to be remembered as a quiet leader. I was on the Student Council Executive Board for 3 years and helped organize many different activities - Homecoming, the Spring Honors Assembly and PRAC are just a few. When students look back at these activities, I hope that they enjoyed them as much as I did. - Liz Kendall

In the future, I would like to land a position with a company for cyber security. - Brogan O’Connor

Because I love to encourage others, I hope I am remembered by my reassuring smile and kind words. I try to take every opportunity to brighten the lives of those around me, so I hope that people will remember that I am cheering them on even when they no longer pass me in the hallway. - Emily Yeomans

Seniors You Should Know

I am most proud of my decision to take classes which challenged me academically. It taught me how to be a better student and learner, and it taught me a lot about myself. The teachers which teach at honors or AP levels are incredible, and they molded me into an opinionated, thinking individual capable of intellectual autonomy. - Winston Hill

I hope to be remembered as a respectful and compassionate young man who could always make people laugh. - Rajiv Sehgal 24 | Prairie Ridge High School

I hoped to be remembered as someone who always tried to make other people’s day better. Whether that be making them laugh or just being someone for them to talk to, my goal was to brighten up the lives of those around me, and I believe I was able to do that on a day to day basis. - Kaleigh O’Brien

I am most proud of how I have grown as a person while at PR. I have gained more confidence in myself, and I have become a more outgoing person. Both of these things happened due to being involved in marching band, as a drum major for two years, and theater, as a head of sound for the past year. - Grace Leali

I am most proud of my team and I winning the 2016 IHSA 6A State Championship. Being able to go out and achieve one of your childhood goals with your friends is an unbelievable experience. - Emmanuel Ebirim

I plan on attending Columbia College Chicago and studying music business because I want to eventually manage bands and musicians. I hope that I find myself in a place where I am surrounded by positivity and good music. I also hope to create positivity and good music. - Delaney Watson

Seniors You Should Know

I’m most proud of stepping out of my comfort zone during senior year. I traveled to many new places around the world and made new relationships. I reached out to new people and tried new things. PRAC was one thing that I would have never seen myself doing, but my friends and I decided to give it a shot and ended up winning and had the time of our lives. - Nick Hamilton

The thing I will miss most about high school is my hometown. Moving off to college is an exciting yet scary feeling. I have lived in Crystal Lake all my life, and I appreciate everyone I know and everything this place has to offer. Growing up here was awesome, but I can’t wait for what’s ahead. - Nick Berg

I’ll miss the teachers most for sure! From freshman year to senior year, I have had so many teachers inspire me and change me to become both a better student and person. I would not be who I am today without their help and guidance. - Payton Gentges

I hope to be remembered as a positive person, good friend, and someone you could always count on for a laugh. I would want people to remember all the times I made them smile and how I tried to care about others more than I did about myself. I believe that ‪the energy you put into the universe is what comes back to you, so choose positivity. - Lauren Brown
