WITH CARE
Faux leather handles are another unexpected add-on with a whole lot of personality. There are eight different styles to choose from, and each comes with Chicago screws that you’ll use to install them. They are ideal for updating baskets, drawers, boxes and furniture.
Dritz Home Chicago screws are also sold individually and can be used to attach various parts & pieces together – like this fabric handle and wooden tray. Use Chicago screws to secure layers of materials – other common uses include leather crafting and book binding.

This shelf really brings this hallway to life, and provides the perfect display space for memorabilia from far-off places. Can you believe it started off as a raw wood cubby?
This ottoman was a total start-from-scratch piece, using an $18 yoga blanket + a craft store tuffet kit + our Dritz Home hairpin legs. If you don’t have a special piece from afar, you sure can make something that looks like one!
Truly one of a kind. How’d we do it? The pillows were made using craft store foam inserts + our Dritz faux leather handles. The top of the pillow stool was a raw wood table top – it was transformed by adding our curved country bun feet and some stain.

This piece was a raw wood cubby – we painted it, and the fluted bun feet with a gentle gray wash to give it a cohesive look. An artful arrangement of campaign hardware provides a fantastic finish.
Easy-to-make accessories can really round-out your look. We transformed this set of raw wood stacking boxes with a coat of deep navy paint and a clever arrangement of campaign hardware.

Hollywood looks are all the thing and believe it or not, you can create this glamourous vibe with just a bit of DIY. The brass finishes on the Dritz Home campaign hardware and legs are no-brainer add-ons. Faux fur fabrics lend all kind of options for pillows and ottomans.

Straightforward pieces with nice flat surfaces beg for adornment – campaign hardware is the fix here. This overstock piece was less than $300 – with the creative hardware additions it looks like a million!
Need to add a pop color? This inexpensive plain straw basket takes on a decorator look with some pink spray paint and a set of faux patent leather handles.

Tip: the bun feet were raw wood; we painted them pink and white, and added a gold stripe.
