After graduating from Law School and with a passion for public service, he began his legal career as a Prosecutor for the City of Philadelphia, one of the top District Attorney Offices in the United States. There he litigated over a combined 200 criminal trials and motions.

WHY IS LEGAL MARKETING ESSENTIAL?
1. DISCOVERY
The way in which we communicate is constantly evolving, and often drastically. Keeping on top of this is essential, especially when conducting the marketing for your law firm. Often, law firms aren’t as inclined to set a high budget for marketing. However, if one invests in this practice, more often than not it will result in profit and will be a positive step forward for your business. With more and more law firms practising using purely digital methods, digital marketing should be at the forefront of any business. Relying on repeat client work or word of mouth may not be as effective as it used to be. Being constantly aware of new ways of working is always a great way to keep ahead of other firms. Although it seems like the world is moving faster than ever and marketing strategies can seem complicated, a primary aspect of marketing remains about client relations. How do you come across to potential clients? How do you treat your current clients? It is about finding a balance between finding the new whilst simultaneously looking after existing customers.
2. STRATEGY
The internet can be an impersonal place at times, and with a wealth of knowledge at your fingertips, it can become easy to fade into the background of search engines. It is sometimes difficult to gain that face-to-face relationship with clients that engages them directly with your company. However, digital marketing can be used to combat this. Recently some lawyers have taken to social media sites such as Twitter and Linkedin to keep engaged with clients on a less formal basis. Having a personal profile allows the firm to have a face, making it far more approachable. Investing time in these profiles, interacting with clients or anyone who has queries is vital to standing out from the crowd, and building relations with potential new and existing clients.
3. IMPLEMENTATION
For new firms, marketing is essential to build a client base who may be inclined to work with established firms. Thinking about what makes you unique and celebrating this makes all of the difference, and for new businesses it is worth the time and money to gain the results and stand out from the existing competition. This online presence has to be utilised in an effective manner and committing time is key. The more information and news updates that are available online about your firm, the more clients will feel as though they are building trust with you; whilst also getting the sense that they are in the know. Things like regular news updates and blog posts are worth investing time in to show clients that you are committed and keeping them in the loop about how your firm is working. With the ever expanding world of Legal Marketing, it is hard to stand out from thousands of other firms. This is why investing in marketing for your firm has become an essential necessity; simply being online isn’t the solution.
