Aug. 25 | An employee of Tobacco & Vape in Summerfield Village on U.S. 220 reported that between Aug. 24 at 12:10 a.m. and Aug. 25 at 12:15 a.m. an unknown suspect entered the business through an unlocked door and stole $4,552 in cash and $1,030 worth of office equipment including a black cash register and a black safe. Also on Aug. 24, an employee reported at 7:45 p.m. an unknown suspect shoplifted $2,416 worth of items including four canisters of CBD flower and six Jamaican Buzz cigarillos. Aug. 25 | An 18-year-old male was arrested in the 7600 block of Deboe Road in Summerfield (near I-73 N) for larceny. Aug. 27 | A woman at the MST trailhead on U.S. 220 N in Summerfield reported that between 11:45 a.m. and 1:33 p.m. an unknown suspect broke a window on her vehicle and stole a diaper bag and a purse with a wallet containing several gift cards and bank cards, several identifying documents and $5 in change.
