Power Baseball Bring The Whole Family For The Best Entertainment Value he Coachella Valley has been a perennial hot spot for tourism, & things haven’t changed in 2015. One of the main reasons the valley attracts so many out-of-towners is the variety of family entertainment it offers. From the historic aerial tram, music & film festivals, to the star-studded downtown Palm Springs, there are plenty of options to keep you entertained. One of the staples of the Valley’s entertainment options is the 6-time SCCBL Champions, the Palm Springs POWER. The POWER play their games at the historic Palm Springs Stadium (where the Los Angeles Angels used to play their spring training games) & pride themselves on delivering “family dinner theater.” They field the best college athletes from around the nation & also from local colleges. With a win percentage of over 80%, you are sure to see an exciting win

T

when you attend a POWER game. The POWER offer a minor league atmosphere, with fun in-game promos, beer batters, daily promotions, & a full concession stand. The team opens their players to the public, allowing fans to interact with them & get autographs after games. The POWER considers themselves a key part of the local community, & treats its community members as part of the team.

Palm Springs Stadium becomes the focal point of the Coachella Valley on our nation’s birthday when they host the city of Palm Springs’ 4th of July Fireworks spectacular. In 2015, the POWER will host the San Francisco Seals in front of a sold out crowd, then they will open the field to the fans after the game so that they can witness the largest fireworks show in the Coachella Valley. In addition to the 4th of July Fireworks show, the POWER will host three other fireworks dates this season; Opening Night (May 29th), June 12th, & June 26th. Many tourists enjoy visiting downtown Palm Springs to witness the celebrity stars lining the walkways. But what many don’t realize is that POWER games offer a great chance to see big names here in the valley. From local politicians, to boxing star Timothy Bradley - who threw out a first pitch last season - or even former MLB legends such as Steve Garvey – who routinely attends POWER games – you are sure to run into a person of interest at Palm Springs Stadium. So when you are visiting the beautiful Coachella Valley, make sure to add the historic Palm Springs Stadium to your list of “to-dos” as the POWER are sure to keep you, your family, & your friends entertained. Splash House 2015 The Coolest Pool Parties Return For Their Third Year plash House returns to Palm Springs for its third year of intimate, sun-drenched poolside sets. It’s edgy and always on-point line-up has seen Splash House host the likes of Flume, Kaytranada, Kygo and Gorgon City well before they became festival headliners, and fans can expect to catch more budding superstars in the 2015 programming. Splash House’s singular vibe has made it a treasured date on the Southern California calendar. Whether dancing bare-foot in the grass to Classixx or catching Eats Everything spin from a hotel room balcony in year one, watching festival headliners like Chromeo and Cut Copy tear up a pool party in year two, or perhaps witnessing one of the dozens of impromptu shuttle bus dance parties that have become synonymous with the event, Splash House has the feel of a clandestine summer-camp, with all of the magic that accompanies those endless summers of yesteryear.

Over 35 acts each weekend including Shiba San and Tokimonsta This year Splash House will return to its established haunts at the Saguaro Hotel and Hard Rock Hotel, while also checking in at the Palm Springs
