The Orange County and San Diego markets remain dynamic, presenting opportunities for buyers and sellers alike. December closed sales rose year-over-year, up 25% in Orange County and 27% in San Diego. Increased inventory—up 39% and 41%, respectively—provides sellers with more visibility and buyers with greater choice.
In Orange County, demand grew 7%, while San Diego’s slight decline highlights the need for strategic pricing.
Longer market times—84 days in Orange County and 101 in San Diego—give buyers more time to decide.
While mortgage rates have edged up from 6.72% to 7.26%, the market remains resilient.
