Preface
It is very interesting to see life around ourselves and how people are solving their day to day problems with innovative ideas. I have made an attempt to bring them to our concern through a set of photographs. This is a part of my Project 3 for Master of Design degree in Visual Communication at Industrial Design Centre at IIT Bombay.

Palm Tree Climber Powai Lake, Mumbai:
Ramesh, a villager from Andhra Pradesh, has designed this palm tree climbing device by using a normal bicycle tyre.

Powai Lake, Mumbai An inflated truck tyre’s tube and a net of plastic thread is used to make the boat for a single person. They row this boat with their slippers.

A wedding in Manesar, Haryana In a wedding in Haryana, a waiter is controlling the flow of drinking water from the water tank, by attaching a two litre soda bottle to the big valve of the tank and the water dispenses in a controlled way.

Paani puri sellers in Ahmedabad has devised a new way for pouring flavoured water. A long handled spoon with a hole, for pouring into puri directly, without immersing his hands, into the flavoured water.
