Why Choose a Non-Traditional Location? • Opportunity Non-traditional locations offer incomparable opportunities for cultural, academic, and personal growth that differentiate students from the average study abroad participant.
• Costs and Funding Several funding opportunities are available specifically for students studying in non-traditional locations, including scholarships through Education Abroad. • Linguistic Skills Studying in non-traditional locations exposes students to less commonly taught languages. “ The gratitude I feel and growth I experienced from my study abroad program is something I consider to be unmatched. Different cultures are fascinating no matter where you go, but to see life in an environment

entirely different than your own facilitates an understanding and connection to people that is otherwise difficult to properly grasp.”
