Penn State Wilkes-Barre is an
undergraduate campus of The Pennsylvania State University, one of the nation’s largest and most widely recognized academic institutions. The campus enrolls 460 undergraduate students and offers 13 associate and bachelor’s degree programs including a baccalaureate degree in Surveying Engineering, the only location in the Commonwealth to do so.

ACADEMIC SERVICES
Penn State Wilkes-Barre does not provide on-campus housing. Off-campus housing is available in the local areas surrounding campus, including apartment style units adjacent to the campus property.

The Learning Center offers tutoring in writing and math, study tips, and help with assignments and projects.

Student Success Services has three major components: academic support, career counseling, and out of class learning activities.

The Academic Advising Center provides course scheduling and assistance with major selection.

Disability Resources offers assistance and guidance to any student needing services.
LIBRARY The Nesbitt Library, located in the Abram Nesbitt III Academic Commons, contains about 35,000 volumes and receives approximately 200 periodicals and journals in a number of broad topic areas. In addition, Penn State’s Library Information Access System provides web access to hundreds of electronic databases and journals, as well as missions of other volumes through inter-campus and inter-library loan.
