London Abused Women’s Centre (LAWC)

The Phoenix Program Description

This program provides prostituted, trafficked and sexually exploited women and girls over the age of 12 trauma-informed counselling, support, advocacy, safety planning and exit plans. This program is designed to increase awareness about recruitment tactics and luring to prevent exploitation of at-risk females. Participants are also offered support accessing safe housing, education, and job training.

Referral: Individuals can seek out the agency directly or be referred by another community agency. Other: LAWC can arrange for professional, accredited interpreters in over 50 languages.
