Conosco delivers confident performance

Conosco dominated the 2023 final of the Valerie Halford Memorial Trophy. Jeremy Pemberton’s squad were in control of this 12-goal final from the start with Ainsley Saddlery (receiving half a goal on handicap) struggling to find their earlier form.

Thanks to goals from Rufino Laulhe, who was later named Most Valuable Player, and Will Emerson, Conosco were 2½ up at half-time. Further goals from Emerson and Will Harper ensured they won the match 5–2½. Manuel Plaza did fire Ainsley Saddlery onto the scoreboard in the fourth and final chukka but it was too late to make any inroads into Conosco’s lead. However Plaza headed home with the Images of Polo Best Playing Pony prize for Consentida.
