K-12 data use, educational systems, school leadership, curriculum design, school improvement
Ms. Hannon serves on the New Hampshire Professional Standards Board, which reviews teacher certification standards and higher education programs for new teacher graduates.
Mary Ellen Hannon has over 30 years of successful educational systems experience, including extensive understanding in school leadership, data analysis, curriculum design, and school improvement management. As a senior associate of data services for PCG Education, Ms. Hannon served as an executive coach and facilitator for the Florida Rural Turnaround Leadership project. Her responsibilities included developing and facilitating training for superintendents, school board members, and district leaders on turning around low performing schools and districts. In addition, she develops content and facilitates leadership team training for the Florida Charter School Transition to Common Core State Standards. Ms. Hannon also works with New Hampshire school districts to support alignment to and implementation of the Common Core State Standards. She currently provides principal coaching in priority schools for the Manchester School District, the largest urban school district in the state.
EDUCATION AND ASSOCIATIONS Ms. Hannon earned a B.S. in Elementary Education from Keene State College, a M.Ed., Curriculum and Instruction from Notre Dame College, and a CAGS in Educational Leadership from the University of New Hampshire. Ms. Hannon is a member of the New Hampshire Professional Standards Board, Learning Forward, and ASCD.

EXPERIENCE Prior to joining PCG Education, Ms. Hannon served as Superintendent of Schools in Derry, New Hampshire. Under her leadership, the district was recognized by the NH Department of Education as a leader in databased decision making. She also served as an assistant superintendent, curriculum director, and teacher. In addition, she served as Adjunct Professor at Rivier University in Nashua, NH.
